consider how fortunate you are to live in a democracy where every one of us has the right to have our voice heard.

There are so many countries in this world where bloody wars are being fought just to gain that right, and they are ruled by unaccountable tyrants who kill to hang on to power.

It will be somewhat hypocritical and unreasonable to complain about whatever party gets in AFTER the event if you couldn't be bothered to vote in the first place. Nowhere is it written you have to vote for one of the main parties - vote with your conscience at least knowing you tried to make a difference. Look at it this way - your vote could cancel out a vote for one of the parties you really dislike. Not voting at all seems such a major cop out.

I sent my postal vote away this morning.
The Lib Dems got my vote this year.

They're all interchangeable anyway. It doesn't matter who wins because nothing will change dramatically and we'll hate them and their party in 4 years time before getting sucked in by another set of lies and thus repeating the cycle.

That being said, I'm going for Lib Dems.
