On Friday im going to the cinema to see Nightmare on Elm Street, im a massive fan of this and would be dissapointed if I cant watch it in the cinema.
I had planned to go with my mates but then I thought since its 18, I would have a bette chance getting in with my dad.
Could I get in if I go with a adult over 18?
I checked Yahoo Answers and some people said I can others said I wont be able to.
The Cinema is like this..
You walk in the door and pay and then this guy is right beside you and takes your ticket and rips it and then you walk into the room to watch it.
Simple really, but im scared of being told to **** home because im not 18.
People have told me I look older than my age but I for one dont think I bloody look 18, so I dont know what to do.
My dad has said he reckons I wont get in but hes willing to try, he also said if she says no he will try and flirt so I can get in and also tell the girl its my birthday rofl.
But seriously, would I be able to get into see A Nightmare on Elm Street with my dad?
And if its not allowed is there any other ways I can get in to see it?

Were you under 15 when you went to see it?
If you go with an adult, get them to buy your ticket and walk in with them. You have no hope in hell of getting served by yourself.

If your local cinema is like mine, get a ticket to see another film, then go to the screen showing Nightmare on Elm Street

Another failed joke.

Ah right, so like if I go with an adult and I dont walk up to the front desk, My dad can buy the tickets and then I just walk in with them without letting anyone see me, Is that what you mean?

See, people keep saying diffrent things LOL
I dont want to watch it online though, I've been looking forward to this since last year and I've been a fan of them all, so I would hate to have to watch the brand new movie on (Probably LQ) on some small screened computer when its out in the cinemas in HD.

But that only works if the start times are the same

Actually may consider this if all else fails, I may have to check that they dont have anyone standing at the door of the screen.
They dont usually do that but in 3D Movies they do.. And I dont think this is in 3D so I may be in luck LOL

Shave you head right down to the skin. use a razor to get that authentic "bald look". Get some old glasses ideally thick framed horn rimmed, with really thick lenses, then get a fake plastic moustache. Wear them
Incidentally post some pictures on here of you wearing your disguise, please.

Its had bad reviews so far.
Just ask your dad or soemone to get two tickets, and dont go up with the counter with them and then walk into the screen with them.
They will ask for id, even if you are with someone over 18! Well they doi in my cinema... but their strict there.
Or you could wait till its out in blobkbusters, its had bad reviews so far!

Order the tickets online.
If they have those little machines there, if you go with your dad.. should be okay.

Just go with a big group of older people.. Wear adult clothes.. Have adult hair.. Deepen your voice and just don't talk to any staff.. mingle with other people and you won't get noticed. Whatever you do, don't go with friends.. they will turn you down straight away.

If you get turned away by the rippy bit, another good idea is to throw the person who gave you the tickets into ****, and say that they said it would be okay if you went in with an adult and get your dad to to go along with it as well,LOL!
