Britney Turned Down 'Telephone' ?!?!

According to a friend of mine who is a HUGE Britney fan, gaga wrote telephone and then handed it to Brit.. He said to me:

Gaga wrote Telephone and then offered it to Britney, she recorded it and didn't like it. Gaga then added it onto the fame monster and asked Beyonce to feature

Now i don't know how true that is but Britney has recorded Telephone because a snippet has been leaked..

What happened was, while Gaga was working on 'The Fame' she wrote and recorded a very different version of 'Telephone', for Britney Spears. It was for the 'Blackout' album. Britney recorded it, but then didn't use it on the final album. The year later, Gaga wrote a song for Britney called 'Quicksand' for her album 'Circus', a song that was used. Then, about 8 months later Britney requested to have Telephone back so she could use it on The Singles Collection but by then Gaga had already recorded the song with Beyonce for The Fame Monster.

Interesting turn down song fact. Madonna's La Isla Bonita was first offered to Michael Jackson, before Madonna accepted it and re-wrote the lyrics.

Things could of been very different there.

Also Justify My Love was originaly from one of Prince's poems he wrote (They were friends at the time and the lyrics are quite different from the poem)
