Eliminated Over The Rainbow star Stephanie Davis has criticised the song choices she was given during her time on the show.
The 17-year-old singer, who was voted off the Andrew Lloyd Webber talent contest yesterday, claimed that she had been given too many "big ballads" during the competition and argued that she had not been allowed to show off her versatility.
"It was just too soon. I felt like I had so much more to give. I just felt like with the song choices, that I didn't get to show, what I could do," she told DS.
"I had so much more to give. But it has happened now. It all happens for a reason. It was fate."
Speaking about her performance of 'Mr Bojangles' on Saturday night, she said: "Charlotte [Church] was lovely. John [Partridge] didn't particularly like it. And Sheila [Hancock]... I have always tried to please Sheila, but I don't think I've done it for her.
"I've done the best in a bad situation. It wasn't a brilliant song compared to everyone's upbeat ones. And it came from the heart, which is what I always do with my performances."
She added: "I didn't find the song, vocal-wise, a struggle. It was just that I have had constant ballads. I had one upbeat one, 'Get Loud', which everyone seemed to agree on. They all said, 'Oh, she can sing and dance at the same time'.
"So I think they decided to keep giving me ballads to test me. I constantly kept getting these big ballads and didn't get to show my upbeat side."
Davis also said that she expected Danielle Hope to win the role of Dorothy, judging from the "way that she has been shown" and "the songs that she has been given".
