Apparently in 2008 Tarantino announced he would like to do it with the plot focussing on Nikki's revenge upon the Bride [Uma Thurman].

Nikki was the daughter of Copperhead who witnessed the Bride killing her mother at the start of the first movie. The Bride turned to the 4 year old Nikki and says "When you grow up, if you still feel raw about it, I'll be waiting."

It's been confirmed that Bill, O-Ren and Budd are dead, but Elle's status is unknown [she was left in Budd's caravan with a deadly snake and both her eyes missing]. The only other main characters still alive are Sofie Fatale [O-Ren's PA] and Hansori Hatso [the swordmaker].

So yeah...would you want a third movie?

b) even if they did, it's a film...

Maybe the Bride's daughter could be grown up too, and Nikki kills her mother only for there to be a showdown between the Vipers' daughters? *shrug*

Quentin Tarintino already confirmed they are starting on a third very soon, and it will be released in 2014. Lady Gaga is also attached to star in it.

I'm undecided about this, If he's got a good story to tell then he should do it but he shouldn't make a sequel for the sake of it. Gaga needs to stay the ***** out of it though.
