Not happy with "The Death" of BB at all....

I know a lot of you are really happy with it and stuff, but i actually hate it. I posted a few weeks ago regarding Davina saying "oh i'm going to miss it" and saying "it's the end of an era" etc. And then you've got C4 painting this series up as though Big Brother is now dead and will be buried. What hope has that left for the show? We're aware it might live on in the future, that's what people (myself included) are hoping for, that another channel will pick it up, but when you've got the trailers advertising BB being "dead" and Davina saying "oh it's come to an end" on twitter, it puts a whole feel of negativity on the show itself and sends out the message that it really won't continue after this series and that BB is in fact, dead!

Like I said in my other thread, I just hope they dont dwell too much on the death factor.
That will put channels off completely buying it.

Im remaining optimistic like you that it will return but C4 arent helping with this death thing.

That's because it is dying. At least for now. Nobody will care about the death trailers IF it is brought back in a few years.

It's certainly the death of BB on Channel 4. I don't see the big deal.

In all fairness we havent seen the advert yet, i know it's a graveyard and s*it but it could be BB never dies? or BB lives on.. or they got the wrong coffin and BB is still on the loose.. Get what im saying, it would mean a number of those things, lets just wait until we see the ad.

Another Member, I think it was MusicMan had a very good idea that I thought was possible.

The housemates all mourn and cry over BB Dieing and they look down into the grave, when they walk away, a flash of lightening hits the grave and the BB11 Eye shoots out.

You could imagine that, you know a rainy day and they are all crying and stuff and walk away while sad music plays, it then stops and a lightening bolt hits and the BB Theme kicks in and the eye flys out.

Would be outstanding, unfortunatly its been revealed that the BB11 Diary Room Chair will be burried and not the eye.

Seems stupid to me, the chair should be kept secret.

What on earth are you talking about? Endemol hasn't organised 'the funeral and BB ISN'T ENDING. It will still be broadcast worldwide.

Look at Black Friday, quite a depressing ad but full of energy as well.... they are all dancing around a coffin at a funeral with the words "Last EVER Friends... and Big Brother gets EVILL"... its going to be something like that.

Im not sure how it will end, or if the Ex-HMs will be happy or depressed during the ad, but Im sure its not going to be a completely depressing ad, Im sure something will happen at the end of the ad, like the coffin opening and showing the eye.

And do you think that the show would've died if the fans would've stood by it. People were too quick to slate Big Brother for its mistakes. I understand what you're saying, but i do believe that the flack the show takes from its "fans" is incredibly uncalled for.
