I don't know whether this will work or not but I am quite a big reader and would love to take part in a book club. None of my friends read all that much, so I thought I would branch out to different people and would like to have one on TiBB as I know a few of you read.

How the Book club works
- Every month a New book is chosen - This will happen by people sending in suggestions for book and there being a vote between the book club members.
- At the end of every month there will be a meeting where people can chat about the book and what they thought about it.
- Nothing is set in stone - You can read the book if you want or you can skip a book if you want, it doesn't matter.
- It would probably be a good thing to have a local library or a school library. The books we read should be quite well known but it still helps if you cannot afford to buy a new book every month.
- Anyone can join at any time of the month - It's completely open!
- You don't have to finish a book if you don't like it.. you can simply say that you didn't like it in the discussion at the end of every month.

Members of the book club - (Even if your name is not on this list, you can still take part in the discussion and read the book.. it's simply to notify certain people of the new book and let them know when the discussion is at the end of each month)

I'd like to do a book in May - So you can suggest and I'll hold a vote in the week and then give you a few days to get the book. Seeing as the first book would only be up for half a month instead of a full one, can I suggest that any books suggested are not too long - around 200 pages if possible. Feel free to suggest.. and I'll add members to the list if they suggest or say that they want to take part!

I would love to join, except there isn't a good chance that we will all finish together, and all the people haven't read the book in time might have it spoiled.

But I love the idea.

I think that a month is a good time to read a book. They are not going to be too long - and the discussion will be at the end of every month in a seperate thread so if you have not finished reading at the end of the month you don't have to go into the thread  I think it should work.

I'm sure we did this before and it didn't work but it's worth another try, I'll sign up. :)
