why do websites have to change!

they changed the itunes store last september it was traumatic im over it now though

I think DigitalSpy looks way better, it's a great improvement on the previous dated format.

It's like the supermarkets do - change things around to confuse people into buying stuff they don't need cos they'll never learn where what they want to buy is. Only for websites they either want more page views or more clicks on ads.

In that instance its not about confusion, its a marketing ploy to take through all the nice things they want you to buy to get to the things you really want to buy.

Digital Spy has become too....generic IMO and its a lot harder to navigate

Facebook changes always seem to get a lot of negative comments, then everyone seems to warm to it after a while, and I've been one of those who has given the changes quite a lot of negative comments, but thinking back, I can't think of a bad facebook layout, they always seem to make it much more accessible and organised once you've gotten used to it.

I actually like the Google and Youtube change, but I think that's just me..

Sometimes an old look becomes tired and out of date, and so needs to be reworked

Also new technology comes onstream and better ways of doing things emerge
