take it in another pocket.

They annoy me too, I tried to rid of some at the self checkout the other week since they usually have no queues, and it wouldn't even accept half of them!

They go in my son's hugh plastic coke bottle - every time I get copper, which is a handful every day, it goes in there - there must be quite an amount in there now! It can probably hold several hundred pounds worth!

I pile them on a bookcase but every morning they vanish. Must be the copper fairy, who takes them. It makes me happy knowing they do good, the happiness rubs off on my daughter who goes to school happy and jingling.

I use them in public most of the time. I throw them in the floor in large groups of people and watch everyone look around desperately. When I get them in change at a shop though they go straight into charity boxes

Yeah I wasn't sure if we were talking about coppers or dirty coins...

Coppers - I'm collecting them in a tin, planning on being a dick and spending them all at once in a shop on something, lolz. Dirty coins - sometimes I clean them because it's pretty satisfying, but normally I just spend them with no second thought.

I put them in a piggy bank from childhood, then one time my mothly Visa bill might be only a tenner or so, I go pay in 1ps and 2ps to amuse me. In germany I'm worse with sh1t in Euros - just give change (cents) to homeless when out there.
