And the Million Pound Drop, airing all that week live at 10pm, which IMO is a bit late for what is a regular game show.

THE MILLION POUND DROP LIVE
Davina McCall hosts the first of six nights of The Million Pound Drop Live , an extraordinary new game show in which contestants can win or lose life-changing amounts of money live on TV. Filmed in a highly secure location, contestants are given their prize of a million pounds at the start of the show, but they then face eight tough questions that are linked to four trapdoors, each representing an answer, in order to hold on to the cash. They must put the money on the right answer in order to move to the next question. If they are unsure of the answer they can spread the money across the trapdoors, but if the answer is wrong their winnings will fall through the doors and be lost forever. It's a tense game. Just one wrong move could literally see thousands of pounds drop through the floor. The series has an innovative casting process. There has been a strong lead-up to the show via Facebook and Twitter pages. When the show goes live, applications will open once again online. Viewers could be watching at home one night and joining Davina to play live for big money the same week. Will the contestants be able to hold their nerve on live TV, survive the questions with any of their cash still intact and beat The Million Pound Drop? Exec Prods: Dave Flynn, Nic McNeilis; Dir: Julian Smith; Prod Co: Remarkable

So with Britain's Got Talent the next week that pretty much leaves us where we expected - BB to launch probably between 6th & 10th June.

Really don't understand though why C4 are rushing this out before Big Brother. It's timing means it's almost certainly destined to flop.

Best guesstimate of launch night? Between 6th and 13th June. Minus 2 weeks seclusion/isolation. 23/30th May. So if anyone you know goes missing then...

Hey Brekkie, are you not an opinionist on bbspy anymore? If not then that is a shame as I enjoyed your opinions are they was very to the point and not all 'flowered' up. If you get that I mean - You told it how it was.

No, hopefully by agreeing not a blog for anyone this year the series won't turn out to be **** - as before whenever I've been involved in UK sites, the series hasn't been the BBUK we know and love. It was a bit of a problem last year when I'd made a commitment to Matt and BBSpy, not expecting that after one week I'd actually find the show unwatchable and for the first time in ten years not watch the series.

C4 and Endemol only have themselves to blame for the shows demise - if they'd truly listened to the fans in the last couple of years when even the most purist or purists were realising a big change was required for BB to have a future I'm 100% sure the axe would not have fallen so swiftly - and even if it had, at least they'd have died trying.

Unfortunately, they only took note of those "flowered up" opinions and those who were more interested in Z-list celeb than making great TV shows - and hence we are where we are today.
