And the Million Pound Drop, airing all that week live at 10pm, which IMO is a bit late for what is a regular game show.
THE MILLION POUND DROP LIVE
Davina McCall hosts the first of six nights of The Million Pound Drop Live , an extraordinary new game show in which contestants can win or lose life-changing amounts of money live on TV. Filmed in a highly secure location, contestants are given their prize of a million pounds at the start of the show, but they then face eight tough questions that are linked to four trapdoors, each representing an answer, in order to hold on to the cash. They must put the money on the right answer in order to move to the next question. If they are unsure of the answer they can spread the money across the trapdoors, but if the answer is wrong their winnings will fall through the doors and be lost forever. It's a tense game. Just one wrong move could literally see thousands of pounds drop through the floor. The series has an innovative casting process. There has been a strong lead-up to the show via Facebook and Twitter pages. When the show goes live, applications will open once again online. Viewers could be watching at home one night and joining Davina to play live for big money the same week. Will the contestants be able to hold their nerve on live TV, survive the questions with any of their cash still intact and beat The Million Pound Drop? Exec Prods: Dave Flynn, Nic McNeilis; Dir: Julian Smith; Prod Co: Remarkable
So with Britain's Got Talent the next week that pretty much leaves us where we expected - BB to launch probably between 6th & 10th June.
