Loads!

Hey You, by Pink Floyd
The Day We Caught The Train by Ocean Colour Scene
Don't Look Back In Anger, by Oasis
to name just a few.

Due to things that happened last month, Fix You, by Coldplay will probably always mean something to me as well.

Snow patrols - run, when I found out that I was expecting it was played on the radio constantly!!! It always beings a smile to my face and reminds me of how much morning sickness I had!!!! But thats a good thing as without it i would have my daughter!
Stevie Wonder - For once in my life as my sister requested it to be played on the morning of my wedding on the radio. I remember bouncing on the bed while it played

The songs I remember from when I was first pregnant were the Eamon and Frankee ones cos they were my faves in the charts at the time. I never had much sickness but always felt rough and really tired at first (the tiredness stayed with me throughout). I'd say Destiny's Child "Lose My Breath" reminds me of her being born when I was in hospital for a week - I developed pre-eclampsia and suffered with swollen feet and dizzy spells before being brought in, and then she was delivered by emergency c-section.

OMG!!!! Me too!!!!! My daughter was delivered my emergency c-section as well.... I also has pre-eclampsia from 36 weeks and was in hospital for 4 weeks on and off. I was induced at 38 weeks and had to endure a 25 hour labour (though I was never in labour as she never got past 3cm dilated). I also has a very bad c-section to which I wont go into but lets just say I lost far too much of the red stuff.
Then when she was 4 days old I got very sick with septicemia which was fun!!!! All in all it's taken my nearly a year to fully recover.... but she worth every bit of pain and worry!

I was anaemic for weeks after my C-section, and was on iron tablets after leaving hospital. In a lot of pics of me that were taken around Christmas time, you can see just how pale I looked. My pre-eclampsia started at around 33 weeks, and my daughter was delivered 6 weeks prematurely - I never went into labour or got induced. She spent 2 weeks in a special care unit before we could take her home - after the trauma of it all I slept nearly all the first day and night she was home as it was tiring going up and down to the hospital in the condition I was in!

Bless... sounds like you had a very tough time Nicola.... I know exactly how you feel. It's such a worry when you go through something like that but also such a relief when you hold your baby!
Good to hear you all ok now xxx

Sorry for the totally O/T post here, but I was reading Nic & Kiz's stuff, and just wanted to say ...

Emergency C-Section here too with my daughter. The good thing is.. I had an elective one with my son, and it's not as sore on you because you don't have the labour or anything beforehand. The recovery is a lot quicker and easier.
