I don't understand why buses up North are not like this? In London, you got on at the front, and off at the back. Buses in Manchester only have one door at the front. The introduction of Oyster cards would be beneficial too.

The new buses have doors though. Not like the old ones that were open. Some buses many years ago even had an "honesty box".
