His bleached hair looks awful. I don't think people with dark skin-tones should dye their hair blond, it just looks terrible!

hes a bit confussed hehe...oh well

Confussed? Is that a mixture of confused and concussed? They're both possible reasons for Kemal's terrible fashion-sense.

Thanks, James.
Fairy God Diva? :puzzled:
Sad little boy, more like. Think he's totally lost the plot now and is living in a bizarre fantasy world. :spin2:
His absolute desperation is rather sad.

The outfit at the start of this thread is worthy of critique, given that he actually wore that in public. There are other pictures around of him in the queue outside a London night club. But as far as the pictures from Attitude magazine are concerned, the outfits would've been provided for him. When he agreed to do a feature for a gay lifestyle magazine, I'm sure the last thing he expected was to see those images plastered across the pages of a sleazy tabloid newspaper. In that context, his appearance was clearly a tad flamboyant. In the original context, it most certainly was not.
Some of the comments in this thread are frankly quite unnerving. Whether Kemal has anything tangible to offer remains to be seen. But popular culture would've been at a profound loss without mavericks such as Quentin Crisp, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Sid Vicious, Johnny Rotten, Steve Strange, Boy George, Leigh Bowery, et al. As long as an individual isn't hurting others physically, sexually, emotionally, psychologically or spiritually, then live and let live. This is Britain 2005, not Salem 1692, after all.
Well I'd agree with your point Charlotte - Kemal is not doing any harm to anybody, so there is no reason for people to take against him so viciously purely based on what he wears. I'd also agree with your point about mavericks in history (most of those you have listed are people I am a fan of, especially Mick Jagger and David Bowie). However, I would imagine that Kemal would not be happy in the slightest if people stopped taking any notice of what he wears! A lot of what he wore in the house (particularly his entrance and eviction outfits) were worn with the intention that all eyes would be on him. But I totally agree that the degree of almost hatred that has been shown to him is unnerving, as you say.

I hate him I think that's a bit extreme. Just because someone dresses like a bit of a weirdo, it's no reason to hate them.

........
I hate him,
However, following on from my last post, I have to say that comparing Kemal to the likes of Jagger, Bowie, Boy George etc., is probably giving him far more credit than he deserves.
All of those people had - and still have - far more to offer than just being flamboyant and wearing outrageous clothes - they have genuine talent. If Kemal demonstrates that he has even half of their talent and intelligence, I will have the utmost respect for him. However, all he seems to do is turn up at every even he possibly can, wearing outrageous clothes.
That being said, I do agree that hating someone based purely on the way they dress is baffling behaviour. If people have that much anger inside them, maybe they could channel it in a more positive direction?

Well he is just proving Maxwell wrong that he wore high heels and all that drab for the house he wears it outside to and i think he is right he stuck with his morals and what he wants to do and im sure he will carry on to and for his sake i hope he does
Kemal did say though when he was in the house that he didn't dress like that on the outside. When he came out, he said that he only started to dress that way on the outside because everyone had seen him in the house anyway. But before he went in, he didn't wear all that outlandish gear.
But anybody who proves Maxwell wrong is okay by me:thumbs:
