Who Would be Survive: Leftists or Right-Wingers?

This requires a little creative imagination but the idea is this:

Suppose we saw the whole society divided up and lets suppose to different islands of their own.

To one island is everyone we might think of as liberal, left-leaning, types. Here we may see a population made of elite wealthy white liberals, the socially liberal types, atheists, homosexuals, C4, BBC and probably most people we know in media, celebrities, global warming environmentalists, pro-abortion types, feminists, jews, multicultural advocates, lennonists, communist/socialists.
Okay, you get the idea.

The other island is made of those we think of as 'right-wing', conservative, maybe religious, types. This might be made up of traditionalist types, wealthy old money, church-goers, BNP people, anti-abortion types, creationists, accountants.
You get the idea.

Now suppose all things are equal on these islands to start. Just suppose everyone is more or less proportional in their own demographics to start and basically 'evenly matched' across their boards to start.

Which society is self-sustaining?
Which society is going to be able to survive on its own and say successfully?


If you ask me it's an easy prediction - Conservative Island is self-sustaining grows and progresses and even if they lacked exciting tourism they would all live just fine.
'Left Wing Island' degenerates and eventually into chaos and ultimately has to become a brutal dictatorship and orwellian nightmare just to keep from total savagery and decay.

Conservative Island probably wouldn't do well with tourism although they would tend to create family-friendly events which may be dull and hardly party-time they do attract a lot of business.


They would not instantly outsource their jobs as 'Outsourcing' is something most conservative types get extremely upset about and its one of the reasons they get called 'racists' and actually nothing seems to aggravate the conservative type of 'grassroots' people than Outsourcing.

Conservative Island would be less likely to be an 'exporting' nation I agree. They would tend to be more 'protectionist' or critically you might even say 'isolationists' which has its own risks but its own benefits too.
