You might be onto something here actually... the 'casual' viewers might not vote much from lack of opinions with it being so early, so it might be a more fan-dominated vote... possibly

In the UK version of big brother (celebrity version not included) a man has NEVER been the first housemate evicted. So, a question to the men on here - if you went on big brother in the uk, and were evicted first, becoming the first man in history to be out first as the rest have been women (since the show started in 1999), how would you react to this? Would you even care? Or would you be pissed off? Or would you be extremely depressed? How would it make you feel?

I think it is. Voters are inclined to demonize women on first impression and give men the benefit of the doubt, but start to judge them a little more accurately as the series progresses. Whereas on CBB they already sort of know everyone's personalities from the beginning.
