A whole lot of coffee

Coffee addicts from across the borough indulged themselves last Friday in aid of charity Macmillan Cancer Relief.

The charity launched its campaign to get people to donate money in return for a cup of coffee when former Big Brother star Vanessa Layton McIntosh, appeared at Solutions Health and Fitness Club in Lansdowne Road, Croydon, last week.

Among the businesses which took part were caf and gallery Pepperton UK in Selhurst Road, South Norwood, which opened for 24 hours.

Staff at the Lodge School, Purley, and at Croydon's Capital Business Centre, off Carlton Road, held their own coffee mornings.
