pop it under running water.
Wrap a tissue round it.
It will be OK.

you might have a scar but not one of those hugely visable ones but one that shows more in cold weather if that makes sense i've got one on my wrist from the oven can hardly see it apart from when cold its a red line and got one thats healing from the grill on my other forearm that will go same way

They will dress it with flamazine or generic equivalent and a gauze dressing on it, if its large or deep. If you have put a compeed blister or burn dressing on they may just tell you to leave that on and go back if it gets painful, or more inflamed. keep the dressing as clean as possible.

Chances are if you have put the burn dressing on correctly and it covers the burn effectively, and there is no seepage of plasma(the clear liquid that oozes out of blisters and burns) they will leave the dressing as is and advise you to keep and eye on it and give a list of problematic symptoms to return with.

thats all you can do really cool the area then dress it.
If its deep, or likely to have problems while healing the hospital will show you how to apply Flamazine(helps heal burns particularly where movement or scarring are an issue), dress it give you a tube of flamazine and some dressings and send you home telling you not to be twat in future and no smoking while drunk or in bed, in fact they may even offer you help stopping smoking , its the big thing just now.

If its painkillers, Ibuprofen is probably best if you have and can tolerate them, over paracetamol. Or a codeine based ones.
Better painkilling effects on tissue and nerve pain like you get in burns.

Thats cool but if its not too serious my advice will be the same for you. Turn on your webcam and remove all constricting clothing. In fact all clothing, it stops you overheating see.

A drunken sleep is quite like being anaesthetised though. Same effect pain reflex, gag reflex and nerve centres are deadened.
