View Full Version : 94 days

From what I've been told BB11 is 94 days and ends 10th of September, making it the joint longest series with BB8.
Fitting I suppose. A few days extra or less here and there doesn't really make a difference.
This would put the final on a Friday.

The Longer The Better!
The last three series have proven that to be bollocks, but since it's the final year, meh.

Wouldn't it be a couple of days longer than BB8 though, being launched on a Wednesday? Or am I just being stupid here?

I'd have preferred a little over 100 days, because it's the last series, but I guess this is better than nothing.

I think we new 94 days as soon as Launch was revealed.
I would've prefered 101 or 108 days though.

I remember bb10 was meant to run 100 days but it didn't.
Anyway this sounds good! A good date for the finale too! However I think Sunday 12th September would have been even better but still happy with this :)

well its been 13 weeks ever since bb7 and the contract was last renewed in bb7 so it is pretty obvious that somewhere it that contract it must say that all the series will be 13 weeks

Methinks there should be a twist on the Friday like BB8 had. New housemate and eviction would be ridiculously too soon.

If its the same as BB8 why is it claimed to be the longest series ever.. I want it to be atleast 100 days!

The contract was last renewed after BB7, BB7 wasn't 13 weeks because of any contract but because channel 4 requested the extension at the last minute (hence all the silly twists that BB7 had).

There have been two contracts since BB6 the first covered CBB4, BB7, CBB5 and BB8 and the second covered BBCH, BB9, CBB6, BB10, CBB7 and BB11.

You mean the part that was your main point, the part that you later posted an article about trying to be clever, the part we've just been debating about? And yep two contracts, starting and ending with the same series I remembered them starting and ending with and signed at the same times I recalled they were signed, talk about epic fail.

no the main part of my ordinal statement was that the contact states that all the series are 13 weeks long.
which you disagreed with, and which you are still yet to prove.

They signed the contract after BB7 aired.

There is nothing in the contract tieing them to a set series length, hence why BB5 and BB6 were different lengths, and BB7 was extended to 13 weeks just before launch (which narked Endemol who hadn't planned for it, hence the almost weekly twist and late series lull that year).

Your reasoning that this post was un-necessary and that the 14 week rumour was never credible.
Plus as much as they B.S., the Daily Star were right about BB's last relength.
