It's Monday night this year, so I can rule out Trick or Treeting.

U should have one Scoobs. The people you lost this year would have wanted you to have fun. I'm sure your friends were fun to be around, and wouldn't want you feeling sad instead of enjoying yourself. Think of it that way.

It's OK to be sad obviously, but it's nice to have fun and remember them as you knew them before too. Plus your kid will always keep you on the up even when things bring you down. That's why we are blessed with children hon. xx

I think if people have a few smaller kids it can be quite a expensive time of year. The shops I think go far OTT with costumes, sweets, decorations etc it is like christmas but with halloween things.

Y'know, I've never been trick or treating, and I've never had the desire to either...

My mum didn't want me to do it either.. but I think the principle of it is wrong, although that might just be me being boring!
