Would the producers think about extending for another series?
The show has mainly died due to its rating flop since BB7 and CBB5, this one has no hype.

I doubt C4 would renew the contract, but I'd imagine it would give another channel enough confidence to give it a shot

If it it does well then which channel would be the ideal channel to get the rights for the show?

I think the only way BB could be saved is if people start watching it again, it would be a boring summer holiday without BB, and get in good characters and not the too nicey ones.

Ideally for us it would be ITV, but that would never happen, So i'd say either Channel 5 or Watch

C4 are adamant that they want a new direction for their channel. And I very much doubt after going along with the whole 'The Big Send-Off' theme, they would just confuse people and renew the contract. However, it would certainly give other channels something to think about. But I doubt it'll rate well anyway.

Oh no channel 5 would be a bad decision, its a low in quality, and hardly anybody watches it, a big success this year will give another chance of its survival.

Its not gonna be a hit in my opinion. Maybe at first but i cant see it sustaining viewers for 93 days

If it sustains for atleast say a month and a half and falls its not bad, because it would be a normal drop after a big month like anyother series but for this to happen, it need great characters, not rachel type ones.

No it needs to have concistantly high ratings through out the series to make it a hit.

Meh, it's dead to Channel 4 now. TBH, I'd prefer it if it was left alone after this year. As much as I like Big Brother, it's just wouldn't be the same on a different channel.

Its being aired on Channel FIVE apparently after BB11

What difference would it make if it was aired on another channel as long as it was the same format?

Nothings been confirmed, but Five were always desperate for BB and no one watches it so I imagine they would jump on the chance to get a show that can bring in the ratings BB does.

I just wouldn't think it would be the same without Davina, the geordie voice-over bloke and all that. Also, the new channel would probably make some chances to "freshen" it up. It's only minor, but, for me anyway, it just wouldn't be the same.

firstly VERY HOT pic Dan!
and I think leave BB for say 2/3 yrs and revive it on sky1 or FIVE. so then it gets a chance to relax and hav a big comeback!
i would like to see it, if ratings do well, become an E4 show!

I don't think Channel4 will consider renewing it even if they get massive ratings. They want a new set of shows and feel BB on C4 has come to it's end.
I also doubt that any other channels will pick it up after....for now. Give it 3-5 years and I reckon it'll come back on a new station with a brand new image. But no channel wants to pick it up straight after it's been axed, that's more like sloppy seconds than a renewal.

Would Davina still host the show on another channel?

It will go down two ways.
A good decision, leave it alone, its now run its course, end of.
A terrible decision by channel 4, Channel 5 take its glory and get big ratings and they can't get it back.

Highly doubt it. She's contracted to Channel 4 I think.
