It's a Saturday night this year! So, what's everybody doing on the 5th of November?

The view from my garden looks over half of Bristol so Bonfire night is awsome at my house! The whole place lights up!

So I shall be sitting in my garden with a glass of wine in one hand and a sparkler in the other!

I am against Bonfire night, it is far to dangerous and alot of trouble and accidents always happen around bonfire night. I think it is ok if there is a local bonfire/fireworks party on but totally disagree with the public being able to buy fireworks.

I agree that they shouldnt be sold to joe public! I had a bad experiance one new year where a rocket headed straight for the house and nearly hit my family.

Yeah but on Nov 5th 1605 Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament with gunpowder. Which is why we have fireworks on this date!

I'm really lucky too, because from our bedroom window, we can see for miles, and there's always loads of forework displays. So I'll be doing much the same as Kizwiz...a bottle (or a few) of wine and lots of munchies.

Just remembered that we have some friends coming round for a meal on bonfire night, so I will no doubt be eating too much and drinking too much wine.

I go to the local display organised by the fire brigade and police - it is always something a bit special to see. Then we usually consume lots of beer on our return home!!

I'll be watching out of my window! I LOVE fireworks :D They're so preettttty.. and there's a nearby place that sets off loads... I like Bonfire Night a lot! But usually I spend my time watching the fireworks and trying to stop the cat going outside! (She's not fazed by them at all, but I don't want her being in danger)
