Not sure if I'm the only one that noticed this, but last night during the 'BB Exposed' thing which by the way, if I may add was a big let down, they left out BB9.

At the start, on the opening.. it showed you the end of the BB1-8 Opening titles, which is basically the eye with a animated background & then after BB8s eye, it showed you BB10.

Hmm, now isn't there somthing missing.. yes like BB9s eye?

I realise this isn't a BIG issue and nothing worth going mad and having a uproar about but it does seem odd and quite unfair they excluded it?

And at the start and end of breaks when the theme tune plays, it showed you BB6, BB7, BB8, and BB10's eyes all in order but skipped BB9 again!

Why on earth was this?

Im a BB9 fan and I wouldn't say it got me upset or angry they didn't add it in but it just made me feel like they were ignoring a good series.

Especially when the likes of CBB5, BB8 and BB4 got more air time than BB9.

Anyone know why this was?

Oh and also, what did you all think of this show?
I thought it was a let down because I expected it to go behind the scenes of how they make Big Brother which is somthing we have never got but instead it was like a **** copy of last years 'BB: A Decade in the Headlines'

We dont care about BB4 being boring, We dont care about BB1 being an expirement and we are bored of listening to how upsetting CBB5 was to indians.

Its quite sad that, last nights show was probably the last ever BB UK Pre Series Show.. and it was well crap.

I didn't think it was crap, I quite enjoyed it.

But I think it was weird how they hardly mentioned BB9 except for the shock task. That seems to be all that series is known for, sadly.

You say your not anfry or upset? lol

Seems to me that you are.

I thought it was a wkd programme and im glad they focussed more on the original series (which you probably cant remember)

Coz thats where BB came from.

Dont talk down to me.

You think that my post was me being angry? :joker:
You dont know me then.

I dont think it focussed on the Original Series that much, it went in Part 1 it focussed on the Dutch Version and BB1 which I didn't have a problem with.

And then on part 2 it focussed on well BB2-4.

Part 3 was BB5's fight night which was entertaining.

After that it was just the race row, yawn.

I think it made hint that we would be getting a behind the scenes look, when really all it did was tell us what we already know and it felt like BB A Decade in the headlines without Grace Dent.

I would just love a backstage behind the scenes look of the show.

I agree with you, they never shut up about the Electric Shock task.

Its been on BBLB, BBBM, The Big Quiz, BB10, and other BB related shows.

It wasn't even that good compared to everything else BB9 offered.

It could only fit so much in to a 50 minute programme. It seemed to acknowledge that BB5 made sure things would never be the same again, bringing Nikki back in was the start of the end, the contestants all became fame hungry, particularly in BB8, and that CBB5 caused the media to turn on it big time.
If they had more time I'd have liked to see it explain why BB9 and 10 didn't work.

The Big Brother Uncut 1 DVD had a good 45 minute documentary explaining all the behind the scenes stuff if that's what you're interested in. It shows the reasons behind the initial 9 week length, how they built the BB1 house, and how they cast the HMs. Ruth Wrigley explains they couldn't put a black man and a nazi in the house together because they didn't want that sort of clash yet come BB5 Marco (a gay man who disliked assylum seekers) and Ahmed (a homophobe assylum seeker) were the first 2 in.

I think they simply just forgot to add it in, like an error/mistake.

I know, that was the one mistake it made.

Maybe it was intentional. I still think BB9 made some effort to bring BB back - it just needed more publicity and could have done without the Nicole interference. It strongly suggested CBB5 and the media reaction was the final nail in the coffin, and while I'm surprised Phil Edgar Jones admitted to making some bad decisions (like Nikki), they didn't explain that BBs 8 to 10 had too much producer manipluation or messing about with the format e.g. Nicole, Kenneth, Isaac, the BB10 London task, too many newer HMs after launch nights etc
