Well we all looked forward to it, It only seems like a week ago we got the Ad for it and were thinking it would be Big Brother.. well it sort of was a week ago, but this week has went fast.
Do you reckon it will get a Second Series?
Davina did say 'We'll see you soon..'
I suppose this may lead to further speculation that 'We'll see you soon'
Means Davina and the contestants will be on Big Brother?
Or it could simply mean there will be a second series?
So what did you think of The Million Pound Drop?

Didn't like it at first but it got me hooked by the end. Wouldn't be fussed if it never aired again though. I just like general knowledge quizzes

Loved it and hope there'll be a second series. I think there will be because it was a ratings winner for C4.

Really?
I heard it got 2 Million, I think it was on the first night if I recall what Salv said.. Had they went up since then?

No they haven't gone up from what I've read but still they were double the amount C4 normally gets in the 10pm slot. Maybe it wasn't a ratings winner but I know lots of people who enjoyed it and 2 million is good for Channel 4.

Oh right.
Yeah like you said 2 Million is good for C4, I mean I was shocked when I saw what they usually get on a daily basis.

By the looks of it over the week the internet participants certainly shot up

Does anyone else think even if it doesn't get a second series, they should release a game for it?
The amount of online players over the week show how many people would enjoy it.
The best bet would be a little online game but if they went all out and did somthing like Family Fortunes did with the Wii last year, it would be great.
I made a little cover for TMPD Video Game for the Nintendo Wii:

Didnt like it simply because it clearly vetted for thick people. Would've been more interesting if they weren't all wet flannels who didn't know that chapati was a type of bread.
I'm with Callum and Gary, I think it should get a second series. I thought it was fantastic, though they could do with more varied contestants.
I'll be interested to see how it does internationally too. They're already making a French series at the same London studios!

I wonder if they would do a Celebrity version, You just know they would like other game shows do that.
The money would go to charity or somthing.

I thought it was a bit boring, but I have never been a big fan of game shows

I didn't vote because there wasn't really an option for me. I liked the idea but didn't like the format. It seemed dragged out and the shows could have easily been 30/45 minutes long. I prefer quick questions like on Who Want To Be A Millionaire. I wouldn't have watched it if I didn't play at home either.
