Grand Theft Auto or Red Dead Redemption?

Which of these do you prefer?

RDR is constantly being refered to as 'GTA Wild West' or 'Its just GTA with horses'

It is very similar and both are created by the game gods, Rockstar.

I think Rockstar will release a sequel to Red Dead Redemption, they have to.
Its one of the most successful games in a long time, I never though Bully (Canis Canem Edit) would get a sequel, and now they are making one so anything is possible.

People are school are actually saying RDR is better than Grand Theft Auto, Im shocked at that..

RDR is one of the best games in a long time, I love it.

The Graphics are amazing, the characters are okay, the missions aren't as good as GTA, the map is outstanding and the game is quite addicting.

GTA Is my all time favourite game..

The IV Graphics are brilliant, the characters in VC, SA, And IV are really god, the missions are always brilliant, the cities look goregous and the game is very very addicting.


So for me, GTA Wins hands down, although somthing tells me Rockstar may finish Grand Theft Auto soon and work on RDR as their next big thing? I hope not.

I voted GTA.

I, like yourself, am a massive Grand Theft Auto fan. I've completed IV, TLAD 100% and am currently working on TBOGT. With a combined 100+ hours playtime, I think it's fair to say that GTA IV (and expansions) was my favourite game ever. I love the characters, the graphics, the city, the missions and much more. Absolutely stunning.

Red Dead Redemption is very much of the same. Characters are superb, it's graphically outstanding and the map is HUGE! I really like it a lot, but I still wouldn't say it was as good as GTA. I prefer the city, cars, hustle and bustle, all the things that GTA has.

Having said that, I still think that RDR will pick up a healthy playtime, and is my favourite game since GTA IV was released. A good move by Rockstar in my opinion to keep GTA occupied until the next installment, and most probably another franchise to build up to accompany Grand Theft Auto.

Someone had an intresting idea on Yahoo Answers to make the next Red Dead Redemption game be called 'Red Dead Revenge' sounds cool right?

I'm really enjoying Red Dead so much more than GTA simply because I'm a sucker for Westerns. Plus it has alot more heart than the others.

Ive gone for GTA. Red Dead takes a bit to get going... good game but GTA is more fun.
