I feel sorry for the 1000's of people that bothered to go to Auditions .. and probably sent a lot of money .. I would say maybe 2 or 3 of these people will be chosen the rest will have been earmarked by BB which is a real shame and a bit of a sham.

My mate went for an audition did OK but then did not hear anything .. I am guessing it is too late now lol...

The producers, journalists and Davina herself said that Big Brother has gone too far to put "normal people" in the house anymore, because they're instantly labelled a fame wannabe.

In the first few series the people who auditioned didn't realise how big the show would be and it was only after Brian Dowling and Jade Goody's post-BB fame that everyone realised they had the chance to be famous.

The BB Team tried to put "normal" people in the house and it ended up being BB4 (BB Bore), the biggest flop of them all.

I really wish people would just accept that, yes we don't want glamour models, WAG wannabes and arrogant womanisers in the house, but that we will never ever see "normal" people in the house because no "normal" person would audition for BB, and they are so average that they'd never make it through the auditions.

That's not true at all. Plenty of people like Marcus were ordinary people who came up through the audition process and shone in the house.

I want to see loud characters and freaks - but plucked from auditions. Nobody minds a freak. The grating ones are the semi famous people cast from celebrity agencies.
