I think they will be huge :D
Hopefully, as its the last series, and CBB7 was a succsess, and they are pulling out the stocks aswell, except from a few things.

Sorry poll didnt work on other post.

I'll just copy and paste what I put on the other thread/

I reckon they'll be pretty high to start with and consistently fall as the show progresses. Then maybe climb again towards the end. I'm not gonna vote because there isn't really an option for me.

I have a feeling it will be a huge launch because they did a gd job with advertising this year.

Good Launch figures but it will be cut short when the world cup starts only the die hard fans will be watching everyone else will be focusing on the world cup

They wont be able to go back to BB3 and 5 ratings obviously, but I think a return to ratings like BB8 - which were bad at the time - would probably be a huge victory for the show. If it hits low 4's, it would be amazing.

I also don't buy the idea that the entire world is going to be watching the world cup. BB3 and BB7 are two of the highest rated years and they were world cup years.

Agreed. It'll be up and down I reckon.

Depends how it pans out. If it doesn't grip the fans early then they will drift away gradually. Needs to be wham bam in the first week to get us hooked.

The final ratings will be huge, providing it's the last ever show and it is heavily promoted.

I reckon the launch will do well, and the first week, but it'll begin to drop once the world cup starts, and as someone else said, will be up and down.

With any luck it'll rate better than CBB7 did.

No, BB5, 2 and 3 were all rated higher.

Not many of my mates actually know it was on next month though. I had it as my facebook status and about 7 people commented asking when it was?

Will be quite bit launch and final.

But with the fact that they will never be what they were in like bb5/7..

And the world cup.. i think they will be okay. - i think that is why bb6 didnt get the highest ratings..
they wont be great..

BB3 rated well above other series - they were getting 6-7m a night towards the end - not just for eviction shows. BB4 actually rated higher than BB1/2 but after the huge success of BB3 was deemed a flop in comparison.

I can't see more than 4-5m for the launch, dropping to 2-3m for the first few weeks, perhaps rising slightly towards the end. As for the finale - it's anyone guess - certainly 5m+, hopefully 6m+ but I think it all depends on how they do it. If it's a bog standard finale with five or more HMs to chuck out in two hours it's not going to be the event it should be. Hopefully with it being the final final they'll ensure no more than 4 in the final to give them a bit more time to play with to look back on the last ten years and chat to previous winners. BB Aus got their final final pretty much spot on.

I'm sure theyll have seperate TV shows that look back on the whole BB experience. I don't think they need to do it within the main show itself.

This is why I ****ing hate the world cup has to ruin everything, so will it actually clash with BB at 9 or 10 PM?

Those awards were a mess.

The public didn't even get a say it was just Davina handing out random awards made of plastic.

I was shocked at BB6s ratings though, but yeah BB7 wasnt the best ever ratings wise.

Of course they do - nobody will give a stuff who wins this year - it's all about sending the show off in style - and that needs to be done with the final itself. Not Big Mouth, not BBLB, not a special show - Big Brother needs to end with the finale.
