Ant and Dec present the second of the Britain's Got Talent live semi-finals. Eight more acts perform in front of judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden in the hopes of getting through to the final and the chance to win the fabulous prize - 100,000 pounds and a slot to perform at the Royal Variety Performance. After all the performances, viewers get the chance to vote for their favourite act.

I liked Connected but, they'll have a decent career from this anyway; I just want some different acts rather than singers and dancers all the time, and considering I want Janey to go through, that's enough singing for me :laugh:

However.. I predict it will be:

Safely Through: Connected
Judges Vote: Tina & Chandi and Neil Fullard.

With Amanda voting for Neil Fullard and Simon and Piers putting Tina and Chandi through.

I completely forgot who Neil Fullard was and I've changed my prediction, I think he'll get into the judge's vote over Jnr and Snr.

And MM&I, Simon has said from the start he want's a good dog act through to the final, they'll pull out all the stops to make sure Tina & Chandi get through, the first being putting them on last.

And I think Connected will breeze through, they'll have the little girl vote, the teenage girl vote and the mum vote. Kev doesn't stand a chance imo as much as I'd like him to, but we shall see how they perform :)

Just Googled all the acts, can remember most of them but none of them really stand out.

I don't want to jinx anything but I reckon Neil Fullard, Connected and Tina and Chandi will be the top three, with the latter two being the most likely to get the most votes. I just hope to God if Connected are going to do well they win the semi-final, cause if they don't, I think against those two they'll be going home.

All that is based upon the record company and whether the record company can do that on the back of nothing more than the publicity and the judges of Britain's Got Talent. I don't think Daniel is in the same boat as Neil because Daniel was slaughtered every week and so didn't have his true talent as potential but just as a gimmick on the show that the judges' could mock so AlexBLANDra Berk could win the show. Neil has had that impetus and he does have a unique talent because he carries it off a lot better than Daniel. While I accept it is hard to break through unless you have clear unique exuberance but all that being said, in terms of talent, Neil has pounds of it and connected have shown nothing more than Neil having more talent in a useless piece of excess skin on his bum than connected could ever imagine having over infinite life times.

Sure, they are pretty sh!t when solo, I'm not going to dispute that, but the harmonies when they come together are undoubtedly good, and if anyone disputes that, then I think they're pretty deluded. You may not like an act, but some people need to start accepting things when they are good. They're not the best, no, but they're not awful either. I think we can safely say there has been much, much worse over the years.

I can say Westlife are good or Boyzone, well I can say they are average because sometimes you think, ok - there is something there.

These guys and this is with completely honesty, are mind numbingly rubbish for me. They don't exude anything other than five guys having a laugh.

Completely agree with you there! Connected have got years ahead of them to become famous where'as Neil hasn't got many opportunities ahead of him.

I think Connected were crap last night to be honest, in a few years there voices will drop and they will either sound great with there 'manly' voices or awful.

I'm just not getting into this year's series, there's just too many awful acts in these shows but then I suppose the producers/judges have done this since they clearly have a winner in mind. Anyway, tonight's one sounds much better than last night, looking forward to seeing what The Arrangement come up with.
