we all no the damage from the liquor,

but nearly every shop has the licence to sell sticker.

when you pass any pub, you can see business thriving,

and to get you in most supermarkets, booze deals are driving.

physical and mental damage are well hidden,

that's the part of the alcohol promotion that's strictly forbidden.

just like "cigarettes" on advertising there should be a ban,

because is it not hypocritical when to the nation we are promoting the can.

if there is a minimum price, what would it solve,

i believe the focus on " drink as much as you can" would dissolve.

the less well off will suffer because money will get even tighter,

but as we all no the damage, for them i wont be a fighter.

the town centres and city's will become a pleasure,

because theatre and restaurants and the sense of community you can not measure.

the Joe is not a kill joy, but on booze we need to rethink,

the evidence is in my poem, now i have said my peace, i am off for a stiff drink.

i do think booze should be put up in price as we do have a massive problem with it and its costing us and the nhs millions. yes i understand poor people will suffer but i am turning a blind eye as its not good for them anyway and they are better off with out it.
