Most overrated character ever. Boring, testosterone filled two dimensional lead. Can't believe the popular opinion is that he is more interesting than CJ.

Aye, I think the same, Vice City was a good game, but Tommy was not likeable at all, whereas CJ was doing everything for his family, and Niko was just trying to get by

He had some good one liners but he was a cocky bastard at times.

Bah I don't buy that either. That's an inherent flaw with GTA characters. Just trying to get by doesn't usually involve the mass murder of thousands of innocent civilians, which is forced upon you in many missions. That's why I hated Rockstars simpering, self pitying attempt to get you to feel for Nikko. Screw that. He is an evil bastard.
But hey, it's GTA.

Is there such a thing as too much violence in GTA? No. Mindless violence. Yes. I don't get a thrill from killing someone whether it be shooting them right between the eyes or beating them to a pulp with a bat. There is no emotion, no remorse and certainly no punishment. The police don't give a sh!t. They'll chase you around for five minutes with 1 star. FOR MURDER.

I really think GTA 5 may be diffrent.
In Read Dead Redemption, the law is VERY strict.
Honestly, you even put a gun near a man and the lawmen are on your back for miles and miles and they literally will travel across the country to get you its so annoying.
I also think GTA 5 will have the same killing features as RDR, In RDR you can shoot someone were ever you want and actually see how they react to it, like you can cripple them and stuff by shooting them in the leg.
Also you can see the bullet holes and their bodies stay there for ages, you could run down the street and back and their bodies are still there and people go over and look.
This never happens in GTA.
So I really think GTA 5 will take some ideas from Red Dead.
Keep it arcadey. GTA IV made the law enforcement tougher and it suffered all the more for it. I don't want to worry about having to kill someone in Grand Theft Auto.

In RDR I was actually ****ting myself when I shot someone I was like 'Oh god here we go :rolleyes:'
Its a game, It shouldn't be that realistic to te point you feel like you will go to jail for shooting some character in a game LOL

I can't belive Rockstar pulled out of E3 :(
I want there to be a GTA where you have to work up through the ranks in the mafia from associate, soldier, capo to boss. That way, mindless killing would be discouraged.
Maybe I'm just trying to tarnish GTA reputation, but I think they should definitely try something different.

I loved Tommy.
I hated CJ, just something about him that constantly pissed me off.
I didn't mind Niko, although that accent got really irritating after a while.

I quite like Johnny Klebitz from TLAD. Niko was pretty cool too. Favourite protagonist is John Marston from RDR. I like his story, his attitude and it just fits. Makes the story believable unlike GTA IV which tried to make you feel sorry for a mass murderer.
I do hope GTA V takes some ideas from RDR. I also hope it's released soon!

Klebitz was very underrated. I much prefered Lost & Damned nice, tidy story compared to IV's overindulgent tripe.

I agree Johnny was a legend and so is John, John is the most likeable in a strange way he seems really nice even though he is a bad ****er but at the same time he just wants to put everything behind him.
Best Character ever although...
Its such a shame he dies in the end :(

I really liked Tommy:D, he was arrogant at times but also had a different side to him
Niko and CJ were both complicated people who overall regretted some of the things they did and had good personalities:).
Luis is a character where I feel I don't know nothing about, he seems quite cold and doesn't have much of a personality either...
