This woman has no talent. Neither has Chiles. They both enjoyed big money for basically reading the autocue and laughing.

I am glad both of them have gone to the graveyard slot of GMTV. 400,000 viewers compared to 6,000,000 is their loss. :D Yes, both might be getting massive pay packets but they will soon be forgotten about, no longer enjoying the fame they had.

I mean, the viewing figures say it all. Who in their right mind watches Breakfast telly?

Millions going to Work and School, watch Breakfast TV
and SkyNewsHD,
it informs them if a Nutter is running around with a Gun
or More Evil Strikes.

Err, millions do not watch GMTV. As I said, it gets as little as 400,000 viewers, a far cry from The One Show's SIX MILLION.

Now I am happy though. Bleakley is a thing of the past. She's made a back step.:joker:

The Numbers change, all the time
and will increase with Football updates.

And you said "Breakfast" TV
which includes over 10 stations
like France24 in pure English

Love her.

Can't wait for the re-launch of GMTV in September. I wonder how Kate, Emma and Andrew are felling about this. I know Ben's leaving.

Suits her. Bland and insipid is what GMTV is all about.

Now she claims she may sign a BBC Contract
due to a £2 Million up front money deal.

Public Money they are wasting on this,
as she has no Agent
GMTV can not confirm she will take the bigger deal.

Christine Bleakley heads for ITV as impatient BBC withdraws its offer

Christine Bleakley to reunite with Adrian Chiles at ITV in three-year deal reportedly worth £6m

Christine Bleakley has accepted an offer from ITV to host a revamped GMTV, hours after the BBC announced that it would not be renewing her contract.

The 31-year-old will leave the BBC's One Show and the corporation itself after signing a three-year deal to front ITV's long-running breakfast show, according to the News of the World.

Bleakley, who can expect to host numerous other "primetime ITV entertainment shows" as well as GMTV, said: "[The One Show] has consumed my life in that time and I would not have had it any other way; I have made great friends and met some incredible people.

"I fully understand the BBC had to move more swiftly than I could, and as a result they've managed to help make my mind up for me."

She added that the BBC had been "nothing but supportive, fair and encouraging" during her time there, and that she is "eternally grateful for everything they have done".

Bleakley also hinted that her former One Show co-host Adrian Chiles would be joining her on the GMTV sofa, saying: "I am looking forward to a brand new experience at ITV, albeit with an old friend."

Bleakley had been offered a £900,000 pay rise by the BBC, but remained torn between staying at the corporation or moving to ITV to join Chiles, who left back in April.
