I will then be switching over to E4 right after the launch and my laptop screen will have the Live Streaming on it for the rest of the night...

Lol a lot of BB fans get a bad name because of their so called 'addictions'. When I was at school people thought I was nuts to spend an hour each night to a TV show watching a bunch of people prat about in a house but it is easy-viewing TV.
Launch night's are meant to have an 'event' feel to them to draw in audiences so it's understandable some people make a big fuss over it if they're passionate about it. BB is more than just watching people, it's part game show, documentary and soap opera. The original reality TV show, and to a lot of people, still the best

The openings are usually bad enough. It takes time to get into BB at the best of times. Since it is the last one though. I will be possibly inviting a couple of working friends over for beer and takeaway night. Will probably tape it and do this on a Friday though. Not the same I know but for working people the Weds night start is not hangover friendly for them.

Not ideal really but after a few bevvies who will care, a final BB party is on the cards.
