Edit function changes?

Have the edit function been changed? Ive noticed that it now seems to state that youve edited a post even if you do it instantly. Im sure before you had a minute to do it without any reference to it.

Just wondering as it bugs me a bit. Not much but..

I always need to edit my posts because of typos :joker:

Since I've been a member it has said I've edited it, even if it was about 10 seconds after submitting it.

I was going to bring this up myself actually, it's really quite irritating, and it looks disgusting.

There was definitely a longer time period to edit posts, but now it's like you can't even edit it without it not showing up.

I don't even see why we need it, we didn't have it on the old forum, IIRC.

Yeah ive noticed this, its really annoying when your just changing a little spelling mistake and its telling the full forum about it.

A lot of people were abusing the delay in edit time. Insulting, but making sure they edited just before the time cut off. This way, people cant be sly about it.

Well can you make it so that only mods/admins can see the little link at the bottom of the post then, so that they can check back if needs be?

It looks really messy and it's irritating :(

I dont know, try suggesting it to james or mark...I have nothing to do with that side of things :)
