Tabloid reports have claimed that there will be a talking robot or figurine inside the Big Brother 11 house.

According to the Daily Star, the producers will introduce viewers to a character called Bob Righter, an anagram for Big Brother, on launch night.

The newspaper claimed that 'Bob' will be in charge of setting tasks and secret missions during the programme's 13-week run.

Between 80 and 90 hopeful housemates will arrive at Elstree Studios today ahead of the largest launch night event in the show's history.

Big Brother 11 starts on Wednesday at 9pm on Channel 4.

And I've checked on the Sky TV guide and whereas it usually says "Big Brother: The Live Launch", it just says Big Brother D;

they'll need to know the drill for what's happening on the night i guess. i'm assuming they'll be 'rehearsing' with 'oh imagine you've been picked as a housemate', GO. obviously we don't want the final 12/14 being given the nod it's them. unless it's actually filmed today for weds. hmm

There is nothing to suggest the housemates are all meeting.

All that will be happening today and tomorrow are the final cheques, press pics and VTs (though with the revamped launch, we might not get them).

The launches haven't been live since they moved from Fridays - C4 have to wrap them up by 10pm, so as the show is scheduled to air 9-10.35pm I'd imagine they'll begin recording the launch show "as live" from around 8.15pm.

No the housemates will not be meeting: They never have and it would defeat the concept.

No the launch isn't filmed today because then the housemates would be living in there for an extra 2 days!
