It's a message on homosexuality and how Gaga wants to have a relationship with her gay friends but they only want friendship and they push her away.
Personally I believe it also commentates on how religion and the army shun homosexuality and in the video Gaga is trying to repress that.

Not really. What I think is happening in that scene is she's trying to turn them or else she's trying to act like more of a man, so they'll be attracted to her.
Then they turn on her, but they don't rape her.

Yeah well. I like Lady Gaga, I'm not a huge fan, I don't love her to death but I like.
As much as I appreciate her style and what she stands for, this video is her weakest by far. For once since the beginning of her career, it made absolutely no sense, the scenes didn't match the music. But still, it's not horrible, the work in itself is rather enjoyable, but not for this song.

I've always loved this song but my god that video is awful. Seriously, she looks horrible, it makes no sense and urgh it's just boring and predictable. Not to mention that it's a complete rip off of various Madonna videos.
She needs to take a break or something, people are getting bored of her.. and so am I tbh!
