Currently my on my normal POP server for Tyneside I am unable to access any Channel 4 site. I get an Error 500. If I use another POP server I can gain access. It was suggested that the IP address of my POP server could have been black listed by Channel 4, or I could have been black listed (Odd as usually on dial up IP's are dynamically allocated).
I have raised a log with Channel 4 and my own ISP, in the meantime I have had to conclude that I may have been banned from posting on any Channel 4 site, for reasons I do not know. As far as I am away I have not contraviened any of the house rules over there, and others seem to post really nasty things, that Mark and Lee would instantly delete, but they get away with it
Although I have a work around, I would still like to access other non interactive parts of the Channel 4 Webpages, so I will not be able to contribute anymore to any Channel 4 Reach forum on the Channel 4 website.
Does anyone have any problems with my postings I have contributed to this forum ?
The problem on the C4 site has got me paranoid :conf::bawling:

Sticks - you make me laugh. I only understood this sentence in your posting:
Does anyone have any problems with my postings I have contributed to this forum ?
and as far as that goes - no problem at all mate.

I have had word from a Channel 4 source which indicates I had not been bannished from the Channel 4 site.
Hello Graeme
We don't block anyone from accessing the main site (www.channel4.com), what is more likely is that there is a mismatch in the HTTP versions that we are sending and you are translating. We are using HTTP version 1.0. If you are using another version, 1.1 for example then you will be unable to view the site. You may need to either upgrade your browser or perhaps talk to your ISP about getting the latest version of HTTP
I hope that helps
Regards
Jude Farmer
The trouble is parts of my ISP are ok except for my local POP Server, the Telewest / Blueyonder Tyneside (Gateshead) PoP
