View Full Version : How long does take for you to pick a favourite?

arsenalforever

Are you the kind to pick you favourite Hm in a day, week, a month?

do you jump on the bandwagon and pick a HM everyone likes?

would you stick with a Hm even though he and her might not win?

do you change your sides to different Hm's a lot?

Be Honest :)

it took me longer weeks last year to like a Hm to be honest
i chose Freddie cause i placed a bet on him and at the end i think i was one of a handful left supporting him.

that was the worse dumping of a HM by fans i ever seen:shocked:

Yeah he had it in the bag

don't know what Bea was thinking if she just stood by his side kept her trap shut she would have got far. i think she went in there to destroy the favourite by BB producers who wanted Charlie(their chosen one to win) but common sense says she went in their to get a name for herself and she will go down as one of BB's greatest Villians

I wonder if Freddie ever forgave her?

I don't really pick a favourite until a few weeks into it, once their real personalities start to show. the first few days is all a bit fake I usually find, as they are all nervous and trying to be the loudest/wackiest etc.
I do actually always like a few at first and think they're going to be good uns but they usually turn out to be the exact opposite. Last year, for example, I thought Kris was probably one of the best ones on launch night... how much more wrong could I have been? I also took an instant dislike to Siavash and he turned out to be one of my all time favourites!
I just hope this year there are going to be a few massive characters who are they're for fun and laughter and not a little bit of fame and a spread in Nuts

It took me ages there to think who Caorin was! I'd completely forgotten all about him. The only person I was right about from the start last year was Sophie; I thought she was dull, thick as two short planks, irritating and the least entertaining hm from the very start until the very end

I dont usually take to someone straight away, it takes awhile for them to settle in. Someone might act like a complete plonker on the first night because they are nervous or something but start behaving like a human later!

I pick my first favourite as they are going into the house, but to pick my favourite for the whole show takes about a week to find out who these guys all are.

And my favs normaly go within 2-3 weeks im a jinx, however rachel did win it.

I've usually got a VT favourite - i.e one I like before I've even seen them in the flesh (so to speak).
This person is then normally trumped by by "first impression" favourite which is based on their reaction to entering the house.
I then get a "proper" favourite after a week or so. This then changes a number of times during the season until I have my real favourite at about the half-way point.
Then once the season has ended, I often have a reflective favourite - One I wish I'd supported more at the time.

On the whole, I find it hard to pick a fave and stick to it. Much easier to find a HM I don't like - that hardly ever changes!

Haha.. yip that's true. In my opinion Siavash should have won but I kind of think he ruined things for himself by getting involved with Noirin. But I mean this when I say, I would have rather seen even Lisa win over Sophie; she was a nasty b!tch but at least she kind of entertained me, even if for the wrong reasons!

I usually like a couple of people on the first night and then my favourites usually change week by week or sometimes day by day. But towards the end i really support one housemate. But if that housemate leaves say in 6th place. I quickly choose another favourite. But when it ends there is usually a housemate who I realise was a legend but hated at the time as an example marcus. I hated him at the time but looking back I wish I was a fan. One of the most shocking though is bex. I really disliked her at the time but really want someone like her in bb11! She was hilarious looking back

I normally take a week or 2 before deciding who I like best. Last year on Launch night I liked Lisa and Rodrigo best. I stuck with Rodrigo till the end but went off Lisa within a couple of days and couldn't stand her at all.

I did like Siavash too until his wanting to leave thing and thought he should have been ejected. I liked Freddie from the start and joined Bea's fanclub but left that after she started messing it up for Freddie.

I think Marcus was a great HM and loved how he always stayed up at night and couldn't stand Noirin from the start. I think both Marcus and Freddie would have made worthy winners but Roddy was my fav from start to finish.

See how fickle I am:hugesmile:

I'm not sure, I think it's a few days. I find it hard to see what they're like on the launch night.

So probably when the second highlights show is on, I'll have an idea who I want to support and it'll probably be someone hated here on the forum :conf2:

I find it interesting to kinda view people closely from the outset and then see if first impressions actually ever hold true, but no, it would take me a week at the very least to really know who I liked or disliked from the housemates, apart from the odd nutcase who you can spot a mile away. But yeah, generally I'm fairly good at spotting the muppets.

Well Siavash was my favorite and I hated that happened to him but at the same time, that was an awful, awkward situation for her to be put in. I mean she had said while in there she was in love with Isaac, it was obvious that she liked Siavash but no where near as much as he liked her, so what was she supposed to do really?? She would have been slated either way, it would have ended up being a poor Isaac situation if she'd have stuck with Siavash, Noirin was going to be wrong no matter what she did! And lets not forget Siavash had a g/f on the outside so if he'd been a good boy he would never had gotten his heart broken in the first place, some might say it was Karma!
