Post all of your first impressions here! Shall do this every week so we can compare our initial reactions to how we feel down the line.

Josie - she COULD be brilliant in a Helen Adams/Bex sort of way or she could be a total bore. but right now all I care about is her delicious accent <3

Steve - possible winner? Seems like a sweet enough guy, I ashamedly find it a little awkward watching people with disabilities though but I'm sure I'll get used to it soon.

Ben - hmm I don't know. We've pretty much seen his type before, Freddie, Derek, Luke. He seems intelligent which is always good but I have a feeling he will largely slip under the radar

Rachael - love her, what a bitch. Everytime another girl came down the stairs you could see the look of disdain across her face. And she looks more like Solange tbh.

Nathan - reminds me of a BB1 type housemate, could be a proper laugh. I hope he doesn't turn out to be a bore.

Dave - URGH. Can't bear him, he's like Jonty meets Stephen Baldwin, which is never a good thing. Clearly made it as a gimmick, he won't last long I imagine.

Caoimhe - fantastic, I like her immediately. She's got swagger but she's not overbearing with it. She'll be a force to be reckoned with in the house.

Govan - LOVE him, hilarious. Is he gay? Not sure but I see a bit of myself in him. I hope he doesn't turn out to be really argumentative.

Shabby - j'adore. sucha hot mess but her personality is beautiful. have a feeling she may turn out to be a bit fragile, in a Kitten sort of way. Look forward to seeing more from her.

Ife - I really like her. She reminds me of Sylvia, but a better more intelligent person. Bitch better keep her wig on though. You can tell Rachael sees her as competition.

John James - love him, supported him since I read his profile out of the 81 potential housemates. He'll be a laugh and he's easy on the eye.

Sunshine - could grate on the other housemates I fear, but as of now I enjoy her bright outlook and quirky style. Will be interesting to see how she adapts. Possible first evictee?

Corin - I think people are being a bit harsh on her. She very well COULD turn out to be a right bitch but at the same time she could be a laugh.

Mario - aw he's qt haha. I imagine he'll pull a Makosi - do well on his mission and become a fan favourite. Not sure how the others will like him though.

Josie - Have a huge feeling she'll be a really fun housemate. reminds me of Kinga a bit.

Steve - Not sure on him yet, seems like a likeable enough guy.

Nathan - A good laugh who will last a long time.

Dave - Too jolly and will rely on this monk gimmick to stay in. Will be nice to everyone.

Caoimhe - Confident and hot. Love her.

Govan - My favourite HM so far, fun and nice.

Shabby - Seems like she tries too hard to be different, but might end up liking her.

Ife - I really, really hope she's a huge bitch.

John James - Will probably blend into the background for the first few weeks, can see him forming a relationship with someone.

Sunshine - Annoying. The new Bea.

Corin - A bit like Saffia last year, don't really care about her atm.

Mario - Really like him. Hope to God he does well on this task.

steve - he's alright. i don't really dislike him or like him. bit of a meh housemate.

ben -urgh he's so annoying. his voice HARRY2 urgh, i wanted to slap him. plus he's my sweepstake housemate.

rachael - baha i quite like her, she seems like such a bitch. and the look on her face when she saw some of the housemates was priceless.

nathan - liking him on first impression, looks like he could be a bit of a laugh. he really needs to do something with the brow though, it makes me feel a bit sick.

dave - get him out. he's a weirdo and not a good one. i think he'll probably be out quite near the start but the housemates seemed to warm to him so who knows.

caoimhe - love her. bit of a diva which is great, i think she's going to provide some good entertainment and she's probably my favourite girl.

govan - OMG i actually love him, what a legend. I HAVE A BIG DICK. that really made me laugh, he seems like he's going to be great.

shabby - she's seems very cool and i think she'll probably be a pretty cool housemate. and she has some good opinions on stuff.

ife - she seems alright, nice enough girl. i havn't really got much of an opinion on her yet.

john james - pretty cool, and he's peng aswell which is a bonus haha.

sunshine - i don't like her at all. she's a bit strange, and she seems spoilt.

corin - meh i don't really like her, and i think she'll probably be one of the first to go.

mario - he seems nice, and if he manages to complete his secret task thing, i think he could be liked by a lot of people.

Corin - Um its obvious why i don't like her just seems like a bitch...but you never know

Josie - My favourite along with Nathan, seems bubbly, fun and a generally nice girl, plus she's from Bristol and has my accent so I love her :)

Steve - Seems like he'll take no ****, but generally a nice guy, could have some really interesting stories and may end up being a bit of a dad of the house, I like him on first impressions.

Ben - First impression he's a total turn off. I dislike toff's but I did grow to love Freddie last year so maybe he might change my mind, he doesn't have the same loveable vibe as Freddie did though.

Rachael - She'll be a total bitch, loves herself BIG TIME and I've got no time for girls like her, could be good viewing though as I think she'll clash with some of the other girls.

Nathan - Down to earth, proper lad's lad, up for a laugh, he should be great fun. Just hope he isn't a let down.

Dave - Urgh. Fake laugh, totally over the top and I think he'll rub people up the wrong way. Potentially first one out.

Caoimhe - Best looking girl imo. Reminds me of Noirin a bit, so am waiting to see how she turns out.

Govan - Reminds me of Cairon from last year, who I loved at the start and then went boring and sulky. He could become a favourite but am keeping my eye on him for now.

Shabby - I really want to like her because she seems unique and quirky, like Angel last year who I loved, but not sure if she's trying too hard or not yet. Another one keeping my eye on. Potential to be a fave maybe.

Ife - There will be fireworks with her and Rachael without a doubt! Loves herself and could turn out to be a massive bitch.

John James - Love his accent, kinda good looking in a very obvious way which makes him not my type lol, but he could turn out to be a really laid back fun guy who gets on with Nathan, so fingers crossed for him.

Sunshine - Dislike. Something not right about her, agree she could be this year's Bea.

Corin - Fake, fake, fake. Urgh.

Mario - Cute and sweet, really hope he passes the task. Seemed really terrified and excited all at the same time. Potential finalist if he does well as the mole.

Josie - Really, really like her at the minute. Seems like she'll be a right laugh and do some crazy things.

Steve - Seems like a pretty decent, down to earth bloke. He's in with a good shot.

Ben - He'll be the one causing a stir in the house. I can see myself thoroughly disliking him as a person, but loving him as a housemate.

Rachael - I quite like her, I expect her and Corin/Sunshine/Shabby/Caoimhe to have huge rows, basically anybody that tries it with her, and I think she will own them, possibly apart from Caoimhe.

Nathan - Reminds me so much of Bez, could be an epic housemate.

Dave - Not for me thanks.

Caoimhe - She will be at the centre of most of the arguments, and will take down anyone that stands in her way, her and Rachael are going to have some huge spats me thinks.

Govan - When he first came on I thought, "oh ****ing hell, here we go, good to see Big Brother trying to go against the gay stereotype again.. oh wait.." But since watching him on live feed, he's really, really grown on me.

Shabby - Annoying.

Ife - When I heard "Iffy tutu" I thought a ballerina had **** herself. She is one of my favourites so far, seems like a great laugh.

John James - :amazed: 'Nuff said.

Sunshine - Annoying, will be out of her depth.

Corin - She'll either be one of those to go up against Rachael or Caoimhe and fail hard, then be evicted, or she'll turn into a right laugh, she's going to be either a love or hate character I'm thinking.

Mario - Just a hmmmm.. from me.

Josie - Horrible Voice and looked like she was putting it on a bit, Hopefully evicted very quick because i doubt she add anything to the show at all
Steve - He's alright so far, could be very boring though later on in the series
Ben - My Early favourite. He will be TV gold some people will get annoyed because off how blunt he is.. can't see why people are comparing him with freddie they are totally different people the only thing they have in Common is that they are Posh
Rachael - She will be good to look at throughout the summer, the best looking girl in there at the minute and she is loud as well, she might be great
Nathan - Seem's to normal for the big brother, hopefully does well one of my favourites so far
Dave - Very dull and looked like a **** when he came in the house
Caoimhe - A nice enough girl, she could be one of the darkhorses
Govan - Don't like him.. Seems a bit of a show off
Shabby - Crazy and looks awful.
Ife - Didn't really like her at first but she has grown on me watching live feed
John James - One of my favourites he'll probably go after Rachel
Sunshine - Meh.. Alright so far she hasn't really done anything wrong or right
Corin - Horrible horrible voice
Mario - Nice enough guy might grow on me throughout the series

Josie - Reminds me of Katy Brand's Kate Winslet. "NORRRRMALLLLL". Haha she might be fun but I think she's putting on a bit of an act atm.

Steve - Sweetheart. Down to earth. Hero. Lovely man.

Ben - Initially I disliked him. The Hugh Grant accent does my head in, but so far he seems quite pleasant. Will get boring fast though.

Rachael - I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt. I don't like these types of girls normally, but she's very friendly and headstrong and I think she's going to be one of the stronger females in the house.

Nathan - Seems like a laugh. That's about it.

Dave - ****.

Caoimhe - No opinion. She seems... okay?

Govan - Annoying. Too flamboyant. Ew.

Shabby - NOEL FIELDING!! She's HOTTTTTTTTTT. I totally fancy her already. She's the type of man I go for. Personality and looks. nomnomnom

Ife - Meh.

John James - Australians are usually laid back and I get the same impression from this guy. He seems alright. Not too arrogant or vain.

Sunshine - Annoyinnggggggggg

Corin - Katie Price wannabe. Get out.

Mario - A total weirdo. I like him. ;)

Josie; Seems nice enough + could provide us with some LOL moments I reckon.
Steve; Bleurgh, obviously going to do well cos his lack of eye and leg.
Ben; He was alright. I like that he's kind of posh though because it makes a change from the commoness.
Rachael; I really like her + it pissed me off that Davina went on about all these faces she was pulling when I don't even think she was that bad at all. You can tell she's going to get the bad edits already.
Nathan; He seems alright, bland but not bad.
Dave; Die please.
Caiomhe; My current favourite (aka first evictee), she's beautiful and seems really down to earth! Oh and she has my hair hehe.
Govan; I liked him until his dick comment haha. He seems really fun though, but could be really annoying.
Shabby; I don't think she'll be anything like her VT, because it was way OTT. Obviously she was disgusting in that though!
Ife; I LOVED her in DanceX so I'm glad she's on this. She seems really nice aswell, but can't sing a note!
John; He could be a dick but I don't care, he's hot!
Sunshine; Love<3 So spoilt but she could make for some great moments.
Corin; I feel really bad for her! So she wears fake tan and has extensions, 90% of british women do aswell. The crowd had a cheek to boo her, they're the same as her! Hope she does well tbh.
Mario; Meh, nothing special.

I reeeally like Ben, Govan and Sunshine.

There are loads of the other HM's that have qualities and personalities that I really like and I am really glad are in there but aren't as much to my personal taste as the above three.

Dave is very annoying.
I intensely hate and ABSOLUTELY can't stand Shabby.




P.S. I love this thread, I always look back on my first impressions. :thumbs:

It's always really weird, it kind of shows the HMs in a new light again.
It's like if you watch the Launch Night again near the end of a series it all seems really weird and so different to when you first saw it because you know the HMs so much more and see them in a completely different way.

Josie - She's nice enough, could provide soem laughs but I can see her fading into the background. she'll be around for a while though

Steve - Seems likable, He's a safe bet for the final I think.

Ben - I HATED his VT. He just irked me, not a good first impression.

Rachael - I think she's gonna bring a lot to the house, She's one to watch.

Nathan - He seems likable although i just want to get an electric shaver to that eyebrow.

Caoimhe - Defininetly my favourite from first impressions. She'll be a cracker I think.

Govan - He's got potential to be good, I can see him becoming someone's lackey though.

Shabby - From first impressions she was probably one of my favourites, she'll be a divisive HM.

Ife - I really liked her, I think she might go early but she'll be an interesting HM.

John James - He'll be a favourite but he seemed very dull to me.

Sunshine - I liked her but I've got a feeling she won't be a great HM from day to day. But first impressions were good.

Corin - She'll surprise people really, She seemed to know Steve quite well so if she sticks with him she'll stay in for a while.

Mario - I've not really got an impression of him yet.

The women are a lot better then the men I think from first impression.

Ben -like him so far, but he seems have a nasty streak, could be a lot of fun though.

Nathan - "the normal guy", will probably last to the end.

Shabby - seems very interesting, but unfortunately, I don't think she will last, maybe 4 or 5 weeks, although atm, I'd like it to be more.
Ife - like her so far, hard to tell.
John James - saw him in the 81 and was hoping they'd choose him! Lovely eye candy for us girls and of course, I wanna see a LOT more of him. :)
Sunshine - I can see her getting on my nerves very quickly.
Corin - not too sure, I'd prefer to see her without all the slap on, hopefully she will seem more "real" then.

Josie - very funny and a bit dopey, could easily make the final as I think the housemates will warm to her, however I reckon she has a bitchy streak.

Steve- gentle giant who I think people will enjoy having a good chat with. Think he could get annoyed easily at nonsense but not involved in the cause.

Ben - he claims hes not a snob but from the VT I beg to differ. Likely to supply some laughs but I think he will get annoying.

Rachael - up her own arse and seems to be a complete biatch. Just saw her on LF though and she came across quite sweet - **** stirrer ?

Nathan - came across very energetic and fun, think he will grow on me. But please, the monobrow D:

Dave - ANNOYING AS HELL. No need to laugh so much fgs. First male evictee?

Caoimhe - I think she will keep herself to herself to begin with, but then come out a bit more and be quite sly and sexy, looks an interesting person imo.

Govan - LOL, very friendly and witty, just hope he doesnt get too much like Charlie BB10.

Shabby - think she is acting a bit, and could be quite rude. Although I think she will become more respectable if she stays for long.

Ife - really like Ife, bet she will be honest, fair and provide good conversations as she seems rather intelligent.

John James - desperate, but he is Australian and I love that accent! Think he might be a bit of a moaner but will get far.

Sunshine - like marmite, love her or hate her! And Im quite liking her, seems intelligent and a bit high-maintanace, however I think shes a bit misunderstood and is up for a laugh and will turn viewers around if she survives being nominated.

Corin - Katie Price fgs. Can see her being not liked much at the start but will grow on people - watching LF she seems kinda cute.

Mario - awww I hope he passes his impossible task, seems entertaining and likable, not sure he will though!

Overall - disappointed with the line-up on first impressions, perhaps because I saw the potential of others in the shortlist. Hoping people will grow which im sure will be the case. :)

Sunshine - I thought she would be a bit loopy, but she seems clever.

Corin - Hmm... she seems a bit shallow.

Mario - I feel sorry for him, he seems very nice, a bit in awe of the whole experience. I don't think he stands a chance really.

Rachael - Generic pretty bitch. I can see her being alright though and at least she's not pretty in a fake way.

Nathan - He cracks me up, what a legend. Funny guy. His monobrow is grim though.

Josie - The public likes humble and down-to-earth girls, and I think she'll last through the first few weeks and let us see her shine/bore.
Steve - His obvious disability aside (which always seems a plus to the audience and could benefit him), he seems like an in-charge, genuine, noble guy.
Ben - We've already tried this with Freddie, although Freddie turned out to be on the more annoying side (as opposed to the arrogant). He won't last, I can't stand him at the moment.
Rachael - Total bitch, but we need characters like this. Everytime someone walked in, you could see her judging. I don't love her, but at least keep her in.
Nathan - The "lad" - a generic, basic housemate formula. I can't imagine him being too exciting for me.
Dave - I didn't like Stephen Baldwin in CBB7, why would I like him in BB11?
Caoimhe - Seems like a diva but a different type that we haven't seen before, as well as a different type of hot. I'm liking her so far.
Govan - A different personality than what we've seen before - I like him.
Shabby - Her reaction to getting in was a combination of Angel and Pete. You're trying too hard, love.
Ife - Seems more down-to-earth than the stereotypical black diva BB casts, but then again so did Sophia. She's hot, though.
John James - Now for any attractive male, my initial peeve is that no matter what he says, he'll sail through the first half without problem no matter what he says. What's different is that he seems a bit more down to earth than the Kris and Dales. I'll give him a chance to have a personality.
Sunshine - Seems like a mixture of Kara-Louise and Shabnam but looks like she's trying too hard.
Corin - ANOTHER celebrity wannabe? One-dimensional, but I'm willing to give her a chance. Plus, they were speaking over her VT so I had no idea what was going on.
Mario - For a "randomly chosen" housemate, he seems far more interesting than some of the other characters and we never even saw his VT.

Yeah man there are some harsh judgemental people on here. Rachael is one of the nicest, most down to earth people I've had the pleasure of knowing, and I've never seen her being bitchy, raised voice, arguing or anything.

Not that anyone said this but just so you all know she's not a typical rich girl (I get the idea some people may think this). When I first met her and her mother they lived on a council estate in a real rough part of Derby. Anyway, as far as I know her, she's genuine. She's very nice to be around.

And LeatherTrumpet dude what are you talking about? Just look like yourself? That's the thing, she just happens to look like Beyonce Knowles, what are you saying that's not allowed? Or... it's... not possible? Rachael has never had cosmetic surgery I know that for a fact, and she has just basically grown into a woman who looks like Beyonce Knowles. So... you want her to stop looking like Beyonce? So... get herself in a freak accident then? Really, how is she gonna' do that?
