BB Live Feed Online: Lagging, Freezing, Skipping. Help?

I have a free season pass to Live Feed.

When I go onto that LF site for BB, my computer always goes slow and lags and ****.

Then I watch it and it literally skipped, jumped, paused, and was lagging big time.

And then the LF as normal for like a minute and then the minute I moved my mouse to do somthing it went nuts again.

Whats wrong guys?

Does anyone know how to fix this?
Is there anything I need to download or get rid of?

Did this happen to you ? How'd you fix it?
Any tips are helpful please.

Stand up, move the cat, pick up the pc and launch the ****ing thing.

try this patrick it might help......

right click on the stream and click on settings then click the folder icon and move the slider all the way to the right to increase the buffer size to its max then click close on the popup box and pause the stream for about 10 secs and see if its any better.

Im just thinking ahead for when its not on E4.

Even still when I came off that BB site and back on here, TiBB kept crashing and lagging for me and it only happens right after I come off the BB site, the stupid ****ing thing.



Ugh my summer is ruined now if instead of watching it Live 24/7 it'll be lag, stop, lag, lag, pause, break up, stop, lag, normal, stop, lag all the time :(

Because I have a season pass and its not going to be on TV all summer only when E4 show it, so I'm thinking ahead if its freezing now I doubt its going to magically just work over night.

Mine plays fine but my computer is **** and cant handle loading stuff so it just turns its self off, its unbareable i get like 10 mins of live feed and it turns off :(

lol so down with things dont be!

1) do you have the latest flash player? go to adobe.com and download and install it again.

2)WINDOWS 7 (it might vary with vista) go to control panel then system and security click on system then on advanced settings....then where it says performance click settings next to that...then click the advanced tab and where it says virtual memory click change.....uncheck the box that says automatically manage paging file size........and click on custom settings and in the 2 boxs where it says initial and maximum put 2000 in both. and click ok then reboot and try it.

and have as few other apps running at the same time as you can.


if that doesnt work your screwed you computer isnt good enough and your screwed.
the stream works great.

Anyone who pays this year deserves all they get for supporting C4 They are screwing every last penny they can out of the fans... Remember how they treated us.... End Of.... Firefox should be best & make sure your not up/downloading anything, torrent etc & obv close any programs you don't need.

I use firefox and it failed epicly on there, so I took Smithy's adviced and switched to another browser, Internet Explorer and it works fine :)

even on e4 and channel 4 live feed is always like that so i doubt its your pc its bb blocking it and cause its like so technical issues etc

trust me the streams are fine any probs are purely at the user end.

Mine's fine, the only time it lags is when my s**tty internet disconnects. Channel 4 have done a fantastic job.

trust me the streams are fine any probs are purely at the user end.

Agree. Peoples download speeds can't keep up with Live streaming... I have seen instances when folks DL are as low as 1.6... Mine is 12.7 mb/s... Check before you pay is my advice....

I have a free pass as well i get a picture but no sound lol not sure if its my laptop though.

If it's any help, I'm on Chrome and it's working fine.

I tried IE the other night and it worked fine but then yesterday both that and FF went nuts with it again :(

So my mums boyfriend did somthing with the internet and it worked last night, this morning it went slow again but then I took your advice and switched to Chrome.

It works now :)

Thanks for the other help guys, I have a feeling Chrome will do the same thing as IE and start lagging tomorrow so if it does i'll come back here and look into the stuff you lot said.
