With camera men in the house.
I never knew The Real World invented the concept of camermen in the set.

Can you give it a break about the Real ****ing World? What is this ****ty little show? I have only ever heard it mentioned by yourself, hardly credible seeing as your about 12 years old. I expect you watch that Jersey Shore bollocks too.
In short - give it a ****ing rest.

Why not, ILTRW?
i thought your problem with the trw and why you could never possible watch it was because the housemates seeing the camera men made them act up

Yeah, cameramen are temporarily in the garden for the purpose of a highly elaborate task. It's still not related to The Real World in any way and you still have not explained how The Real World invented the concept of cameras following people. Stop being so childish because - god forbid - I don't have any interest in The Real World.
They don't have two way mirrors in the sky, simpleton.

Did I ever say TRW invented the concept?? No
All I said it is in the style of TRW, which it is.

No it's not. The Real World did not invent the idea of a man with a camera following another man. It's like saying they are shooting it in the style of Die Hard. Or a 1967 BBC documentary on rat infestations in suburbia. Both of which featured [gasp] men with cameras following things.
It's not The Real World's 'style'. It's just a few blokes with shoulder mounted cameras and some grip wire shuffling around on some astroturf.

It's also "In the style" of Coach Trip, anything with Gok Wan and all other "reality TV Shows" where cameraman/women are present.

lol the camera men are actually talking to the housemates, now that definitely wouldnt happen on TRW

TRW is crap anyway. Tried watching it once... The real? World? Yeah right cos these guys/girls would definitely act the way they do, when a camera's not around them.
BS.

Also, D.A. Pennbaker's Dont Look Back, which featured some men with cameras following Bob Dylan around for a bit.
But I'm sure they just robbed the concept from The Real World .
this task looks brilliant.
How much i would KILL to do this

Don't get defensive because i called you out
the fact of the matter is, are you going to watch the show tomorrow?
it would be quite hypocritical of you to do so

You didn't call me out. You would had to have had a point in order to have called me out. And thus far you have not put a single valid point foward.
The suggestion seems to be that I should abandon watching all shows that feature men with cameras following other people.
In short, get a ****in' grip you silly child.

I'm not sitting here biting peoples heads off for disagreeing with my view on a T.V show like you are though?
This is not "In the style of" TRW. TRW is not the almighty God concept of cameramen/women following people around. Documentaries have been around, for God knows how long and there were many reality shows that had visible cameramen/women and cameras prior to TRW first airing in '92.
Maybe your TRW blinkers have got you associating this, with TRW concept, which is your perogative but myself, Stu and others disagree because it was not the first to come up with the concept and therefore it's not in its style...
Simple really?

For one task... *sighs* It's not the end of "The Real World"
I like how you completely ignored me shtm'ing you, as well.

Yeah, because they are forty feet in the sky. Your point?
Oh yeah, you don't have one. Your out of your depth.
The housemates will return to the ground in about an hour, the cameramen will leave, and business will resume as usual.
Now from all of us to you **** OFF :).

Brb, getting a crane to lift up the Big Brother, so its not real world filming.

Those fat cats in Hollywood better remember to put a two way mirror in front of every camera from now on. I find it amazing that Avatar made so much money from directly copying The Real World's pioneering television production methods.

excuses excuses, if you were really against this filming style then surely you would totally disagree with the task, not just make an exception for it.

ILTRW dude/dudette seriously.
Stu's not making excuses; explain how you could JUSTIFY NOT having visible cameras/camera crews ON the table which is a hundred and so feet in the air? Please, I'd love to hear it...
Regardless I only see mounted cameras, not camera crew; they were only there to MOUNT the cam's.

Of course I am making an exception. A dozen or so housemates are having dinner right now in an airspace normally reserved for kites and the suicidal.
Of course I am making an exception. You ****ing muppet.

if i had the same views as stu i would expect all the filming to be done by mounted cameras
if i had the same views as stu i would expect all the filming to be done by mounted cameras
Could you please stop making up views that I do not actually hold purely out of some bizarre spite because I refused to watch TRW even after you pestered me with personal messages begging me to? .
I never once said I expect all filming to be done by mounted cameras. [I]The Matrix would have suffered immensley at the hands of such a draconian production method.

So let us put cameras on 130+ft mounts to follow around a crane which is swinging and swirving in the wind, constantly.
Seriously mate, stop trying to argue this because it's getting you nowhere. You're wrong. End of.
