Why was there a poll on BBLB, along the lines of "Do you think Mario should stay if he fails?"

FFS, if he fails, then he's going, simple as.

Whether people want him to stay or not should be IRRELEVENT.

If he fails, then he SHOULD be kicked out, and that is because it's what BB said they'd do. If BB change their mind then that is deception.

Also, if Mario does stay then his fan base is gonna be huge. He has been obviously getting far more airtime than the remaining 13 HMs and is already the 'star' of the show with a huge fanbase - this needs to stop as it's unfair in that it's using up valuable airtime for the other 13 HMs.

I think they're only doing this cos he's so well liked, if the random housemate was hated
they'd definately be going home if they failed. But cos he's liked they might keep him in for the viewers, and as much as I like him and want him in it would be ridiculous if they let him stay if he fails ;/
