That's how Big Brother mind****s with the housemates though.

The over-analytical ones may well think that Big Brother has "framed" him and made it so blatantly obvious that it is Mario, that it must be someone else. Mario has actually played it pretty well, just chucking in the occasional "I think this is just a set-up you know, when things are obvious, you tend to miss the other things going on." He's played it exactly how he should've and the over-analytical ones will probably think something is going on that isn't his fault.

On the other hand, some of them might actually think, hang on.. Big Brother just wants to mess with our minds and make us look stupid if we don't choose the obvious.

But it is an impossible task, so it was always going to be hard.

They should have had an actual fake housemate go in. Someone from the production team or something. When Davina entered the house and the screen was switched off so the 81 people couldn't see she could have informed us that the first (or sixth or last or whatever) housemate that Big Brother selects will be a mole who is going to do all they can to disrupt life in the house. If they discover the culprit by next Friday they win a luxury shopping budget. If not, they get a crappy budget. Then on the Friday the mole is revealed to the house (like Pauline in BB8) and leaves. Much more interesting than this ridiculouse Mole Hole stuff.

After Mario goes, they should put all the shortlist up for a vote that lasts a couple of days for who they want to replace Mario. Then that way, if people are angry that Mario's gone, at least they may be happy that they can vote for who they want in from the shortlist
