View Full Version : Nathan Nathan being way too nice - Is it an act or just unexpected?

When I first saw Nathan's VT he was talking about being chisled out of steel and something else; being a little big headed but over-all fun. But at the same time I was quite surprised at all the cheers he got, going into the house over the others who went in before him.

The more I see his actions in the house, the more I'm beginning to like him but at the same time he's being a little too 'nice' for my liking and I'm not sure I'm the only one, based on I guess the kind of bloke he looks like.

Twice Mario's had to make a decision which is directly making him look like a bad guy, and he's been upset about it but it seems Nathan's the first one there, trying to comfort him and getting him to step up and just hold his hands up with taking the responsibility and moving on "f'k what anyone thinks" -- A direct contradiction of his VT where he stated he 'doesn't do responsibility'

So I'm just wondering if this is an early game-plan by Nathan or it's just a case of being unexpected due to the kind of guy he 'looks like' and his original VT; Your thoughts?

--Note: Want to add I have said I DO like the bloke.

Never had any doubts about him myself. Seems like a regular stand up bloke.

He looks hard, and out of his comfort zone.

He looks hard, and out of his comfort zone.

That's the kind of thought train I had, which is why I'm not sure if it's just a reaction to being in the house, trying to be a stand up guy or if that's genuinely him and the old saying 'never judge a book by its cover' would come into play.

I think Nathan sees himself as a bit of a hardman like Jack from EastEnders. :D

Hard as a soft boiled egg! Men who say they are hard seldom are.

probably the most boring person in there

He's never said he was 'hard' but his looks kind of 'define' that stereotype...

And I'm not sure he's the most boring whatsoever. Govan, Sunshine and Ben are all as dull as energy saving lightbulbs.

Oh and his language is horrible, never heard so much filth from ones mouth.

Worse then Gordan Ramsey

he's just boring and isn't a big enough character
maybe that will change

I find alot of times when the numbers dwindle a bit, people you never noticed start to shine a bit more

his only probelm and maybe he will come into more is he's out fo the guys not getting any H/l time and the thing that is going to save him is he's not in anyone's face plus he cooks for them. He seems to mix with the women a little more then the guys not a bad thign :) but he should mix a bit more with the guys
