About time this smooth talking charlatan was finally exposed as a fake. All his histrionics claiming to be possessed by spirits - sadly lapped up by gullible viewers - is nothing more than a pretense to show off his ham acting skills.

Doesn't surprise me at all. I'm undecided about the whole issue of ghosts myself, but I always thought that he comes across as very fake.

I always felt he was far too ott and was putting on an act. Derek Acorah has hoodwinked the viewers.

I do believe in the paranormal, but I was always a bit sceptical about Derek. As Dan says, he is a bit too OTT, which doesn't sit well with me.

Derek is very OTT! He just always makes such a bit fuss over things. I much prefer David Wells

Oh,, I can't believe I missed that ... Chris Moyles is a legend! I love him. He cracks me up!

I'm not sure about David Wells though Kiz,,, he reminds me too much of Russell Grant... ... round, camp.. you get the picture.. :spin:

He is OTT some of the time, but he aint a fake!
Iv met him twice, hes such a nice guy.. and been to his shows.. and hes said stuff no-one else could have known.... go figure!

As far as I am concerned Most Haunted hasnt been the same since Derek left. The new psychic is too much like David Wells. I liked the obvious difference between David and Derek and the way they worked.

Anyway its all a matter of opinion.

I still love Derek though... i saw him in November and it was so good i booked to see him again in April! :hello:
