did anyone else see through the whole "being saved" thing? Obviously they all knew he was the mole but didnt say his name as they didnt want him evicted. Had Big Brother NOT said, "if a majority of you guess who it is he'll be evicted' they woudl all have guessed him. This was big Brother's way of saving him but still completing the task. I have to admit that the past 4 days have been super entertaining and I'm glad they did this twist. But it's so transparent that they saved him in a backwards way! What do yo think?

Yep and I don't mind too much, Moley is a good housemate.

The only way the housemates would have picked him was if they hated him for what he did, but BB knew they were very fond of him.

It would have been unfair to lose someone soo soon. And as you say he was very entertaining over the last few days.

I like that he got to stay.

I'm THRILLED that he stayed, BB probalby didnt count on the mole being such a playful housemate, loved by the house and the public, and didnt think their mole would carry out all the tasks so well. he never flinched, he never let on that he's involved, he was awesome. I just have to laugh how fake the 'task' of figuring out the mole was.

Don't like it's a fix on the last one. They should let it flow

I don't think it is a fix, it's only cause he is clever and likable that people are saying it is so.

You think such a likeable mole got picked by random????

You think such a likeable mole got picked by random????

Yes, and I think it could have been any of them.

Half the people who apply for BB are huge fans of the show and a lot have had experience of being on camera.

And the main reason he seemed likable was becuse he was dressed as a mole.

I'm not sure how interesting he will be now.

Consider this - what an amazing coincidence that the mole costume was perfectly tailored to fit Mario?

Of all the big, tall, fat, short, people in that crowd and low-and-behold it fit him just perfectly.

But hey.. maybe they did have 3 or 4 mole costume sizes on hand for any 'random' pick,
but,
I still say its a remarkable coincidence?

Well hell, let's fill the whole house with actors and pre-written stuff then.

Does that mean we're stuck with him then?. Pity, I was hoping he'd go, he reminds Me too much of Sree with his ott niceness.I can't stand how everytime he see Shabby,Caoimhe, and Iffy, he calls them "His pretties" or something, which I think is a bit patronising.

Quite a few fixes have been in the other series just to keep that specfic person in.

I think it was a fix but I like Mario. Makes a nice change from all the caveman blokes we usually get in BB.

All a fix

I don't think so. The producers can't control what the HMs themselves decide. They either sussed he would be punished if found out or they were double bluffed into thinking he was just too obvious.

Either way it's a good outcome.

Sunshine found him out so in a sense he should be evicted. Endemol know though that he has become popular by being involved in a twist (that tends to happen with secret missions in BB) so they decided to save him. They often change the rules according to what they think will help the show. Sometimes they are wrong though, for example allowing Lisa to keep in (despite talking nominations) for so long controlling the house in BB10.

I found the whole thing such a pathetic anti climax tbh...

There was so much cheating on the naming part of the mole that anyone who has openly saying that they tactically voted (ie a lot of them) should be up for eviction as a punishment.

After a good task, the whole end was handled so badly in BBs desperation to keep him in that it made the whole thing a joke.

And on the 'good fix' note... no. A fix is a fix, and all fixes are just BS imo.

Let the cards fall where they may.

Tbh though, the whole thing has strengthend my distaste for Mario... before i just thought he was a wet whinger, now i see him as a slimey snake piece of crap willing to do (and crap on) whatever he needs to do to stay in and survive, while smiling into the faces of his 'friends' as he does.

On this note...

I had to go out, but did anyone see BB actually tell the HMs they had passed?

All I saw was them being told the task was 'over' (not the same as passed) and that Mario could take the suit off.

Also, where did he sleep last night? In the hole still?

I tend to agree with you on this one. The whole thing was a bit of an anti-climax. I really do believe that picking Mario from the tombola was a fix. Some of the physical stuff he had to do would not have be achieved by the dwarf, the girl of crutches and a few others. BB had to pick someone (for the mole task) who they knew would be physical agile and have the mental ability to think quick. Deffo a plant and for this reason I would have liked to have seen Marion out of the house.
