But ps4 is more wanted than xbox 720 apparently.. on a big poll more than 2 people to every 1 person wanted the new ps4 to the xbox..

And apparently the ps4 could have multiple disc drive :) not as in 2, but like a car can have a 5 cd changer.. something like that.. and more space on discs.

Well I doubt details will have been finalised for the PS4, and it will be a long time before it is out, the PS3 has just undergone an extensive rebranding and the Slim only came out last year

E3 is normally the sole reserve of Nintendo for having highly paid corporate suits looking riddiculous on stage - arms all flailing about. With the other two doing it this year I don't think I can tolerate the E3 coverage. Especially with Microsoft always going to great lenghts to point out what a jiving bunch of hipsters they are, or Sony shaking their collective fists promising that the PSP will rule the world once it hits it's stride within the next dozen or so years.. Motion control ****ing sucks. I play games because I'm lazy.

I always found the 60 gig more than enough though - and I install all my games so they don't make noise. When I'm done a game, I just uninstall it. I can never, ever imagine running into storage problems.

I loved the reveal of it, I was watching the feed on Youtube and it was brilliantly done. The fact that it's the same price as a normal Xbox and is releasing so soon completely surprised me as well. I wouldn't go out and buy one but if this xbox ever breaks I won't hesitate I don't think.

I think it'd stand more chance of failing on the Xbox though, especially given the potential price (£100 or more). The normal Xbox audience wouldn't typically go for it and why would the casual and Wii audiences shell out £400+ when they already have their Wii? It's an interesting piece of tech but it doesn't make much business sense to me really to release it on the Xbox. It's going against their core audience.

Here's the problem with Kinetic :

The Wii looks in a wide arc to the left and right of its sensor but doesn't require any depth data. Kinetic needs about 15 feet of front-to-back to properly operate. It also can't cope with any objects being in that area, so no coffee tables, chairs, sofas speakers, etc.

Now how many of us have this 15 feet to spare? I certainly don't. Nor does anyone living in a flat. Or most living rooms outside America.

It's incredibly impractical.

Anyway I doubt it will interfere with business as usual on the Xbox. Devs will continue to pump out modern, traditional games because they can. Remember, it's still the Xbox. It's not as if they have downgraded it's core components to match the speed of the Gamecube.

RRoD is history on these new ones and they are quiet as a mouse...plus you don't even have to press the power button to turn it on, you just lightly touch the symbol and it comes on xD
