Eating Disorder Battle Revealed

Okay so I know most of you hate 'sob' stories, hec Im not keen on them myself, but I thought this was sweet..

Sunshine has battled with anorexia in the past, it has emerged.

According to the News of the World, the 24-year-old housemate, who struggles with low self-esteem, developed the eating disorder aged just 15.

"I am very honest about the eating disorder I developed," the paper quotes Sunshine as saying. "I look in the mirror and I see somebody who is ugly. I cover myself with pretty clothes and tell the world I'm sexy, but inside I feel hideous."

Despite describing herself as "beautiful and intelligent" in her auditions, she said: "My choice has been to feel ugly but to tell the world I am beautiful - that way, maybe one day I will come to believe it".

Shes a fighter, I think she is very misunderstood within the house as people think she thinks she is better than the show, but its not the case at all. And to add I think she is quite pretty. :)

This might be why it affected her so much with the voting when they all went for her is she has low self-esteem.

yeah i didnt know about the eating disorder but it doesnt surprise me but all that stuff she said happened in her life all people's she's lost but she's becoming successful ie becoming a doctor so its not all bad but i think she will be evicted

She does look pretty in her publicity photo - she's certainly not hideous

its just another case of someone with underlying problems that they cant really deal with all to well, i have some myself. I find it crazy that they think they will find acceptance by going on what is essentially trash tv that is overly scrutinised. They just need to learn to be themselves and everything will flow from that. Not easy I know, but better advice than go on a tv show.

The worse thing is that people like sunshine will only grow in number with the current celeb/image/money/status culture we live in.

Shouldn't be in there then. Take your issues elsewhere because BB certainly won't help her. If anything just make her problems worse. Much worse.

If she is a true trainee doctor then she doesn't need any TV Shows.. People rely on her when they go to A&E for medical treatment... Seeing her on this show will undermine her ability as a Professional IMO I for one would question her ability after seeing her on here.. :xyxwave:
