I came up with the clever idea of merging their names Gerard + Alex = Gerlex. Yes lovely weather, nice and hot, first time we have done a road trip. Last year we had a cruise round the Med and that was amazing and the ship was awesome but you get the feel of a country more when on the road.

Over 2 weeks, our kids are grown up, so its nice to go away on our own now.
We are thinking about next year already, its a big anniversary for us so want something different. TBH, we have done a lot of Europe now and India and US, so it might be Australia or Thailand , I hate really long flights though.

Oh how many years can I ask? I went to Australia last year, it's not so bad if you break it up and do a couple of nights in Singapore or Malaysia or somewhere on the way. You would need a good few weeks for Oz though, so much to see there

So many of my friends parents and my own parents have separated in the last few years, it's abit disheartening.
