I'm really starting to like Ben

My opinion has definitely changed about Ben, when he walked in, he looked like a right prat but he's really growing on me and I reckon he could be an entertaining housemate as the series progresses.

Plus I like his friendship with Mario. Good times.

Am I missing something? They don't look like great friends to me. Mario seems to want to be rammed by Ben though which is fricking disgusting and makes for cringe worthy viewing when he is going after him so desperately.

There is only one word to describe Ben - GENIUS - the man is brilliant, he is more like a characture than a real persaon. I love him to bits. But not in the slightly sinister and overly touchy way that Mario does.

I deal with the upper-middle classes every day of my working life, and Ben is absolutely typical (in a good way.) He is himself, he is not afraid to ask questions that may be perceived as stupid. Also the vague gay air...it's just a public school affectation. He will genuinely want to get on with everyone. You will find that people like him are a lot less interested in class difference than those with a class-chip on their shoulder. Go Ben.
