BIG BROTHER girl Lesley Sanderson is the victim of an alleged rape, it was revealed today.

Lesley, 18, from Skelmanthorpe, has told police she was raped in a hotel room by a man after a date.

She has waived her right of anonymity to talk about the alleged attack in a Leeds hotel.

Story continues

Lesley declared: "Big Brother has ruined my life.

"I wish I had never done it."

She revealed how, before the alleged rape, she had been:

* Glassed and kicked in clubs

* Verbally abused

* Constantly hassled by men.

Her mother Heather confirmed to the Examiner today that Lesley had left home after a bust-up.

Mrs Sanderson said: "All of this is extremely upsetting and worrying.

"I haven't seen her recently, but know what she's been doing through relatives."

Lesley said the alleged rape was the last in a series of "nasty events" she has endured since appearing in the programme over the summer.

Producers had deliberately portrayed her in a poor light.

The alleged rape reportedly happened last month when she was attacked by a man in his 20s at the Golden Lion Hotel in Leeds city centre.

But honestly what did she expect? She behaved apallingly in the house, and even her video audition showed her as a nasty piece of work. She has found herself unpopular outside the house because of her behaviour in it.

Of course, that doesn't mean to say that I'm not sympathetic if this rape allegation is true - nobody should go through that, and if she has been attacked, then I truly hope that she can get past this, and rebuild her life.

Noone should be raped, or glassed, but surely she can't have expected a good reaction from the public? I knew I wouldn't like her three seconds into her audition!:shocked:

Btw she's not 18, because she was 19 when she went into the house. No, she's either 19 or 20.
