.. and I saw that episode of Lost... I didn't know you were a fan. It's an excellent show. I haven't found anywhere online to talk about it, because there are so many Americans around who are into the next season, and therefore know stuff which hasn't happened yet on our telly. I hate spoilers, so I just avoid those places.

Yeah, I'm loving Lost too. Trouble is I'm up to ep 8 of season 2 so discussing it could seriously spoil people's enjoyment of the show.

For the time it will take me to DL all the episodes to get to where you are at, I might as well get in the car and drive up to your house. It'll only take me 10 mins. Get the kettle on. :spin:

Ok James, ... I'm DL-ing one episode. I have been here for over an hour, and I'm 3% done... Is this the normal service I can expect from that site? :laugh:

Hmm, the speed depends on how many people are sharing it. 3% in an hour seems a bit slow mind you.

They usually start off slow and pick up speed, but you might have expected to get the whole thing in about 2-3 hours if you have broadband.

You have to make sure your firewall - or router if you have that - is setup properly for this... if you can see a green light (instead of yellow) on the bit torrent program your okay though.

I have a slowish broadband connection at the moment and it takes me 14 hours to get these eps on average. :sleep:

I'm using WinXP built-in firewall. I don't have a router. I have a 2.3Mbps Broadband connection.

I am now DLing an episode of Greys Anatomy and it seems to be moving faster. Maybe it's just that there weren't many users sharing the episode of 'Lost' that I was trying to get.

I will let you know how long it takes for me to DL this once it's done.

Update:

The last 2 eps of Lost I DLed came through within an hour. BOTH EPS! Now, that's what I'm talking about!..

Anyway, I have DLed a bunch, but haven't watched them all yet. I'm up to S02E05. Where you at?
